    Blixo was born out of my desire to improve existing software solutions for invoicing, subscription management, collections, and reconciliation. As I scaled my last company, I had to switch software vendors every year. When our company was small, the enterprise software that did what we needed was too expensive and once we were big, the enterprise software couldn’t handle the throughput we needed at scale. I’ve seen many companies bundle together multiple software solutions to run their AR process and still spend hundreds of hours performing manual tasks like 3-way matching to close their books every month, I wanted a unified view and single source of truth for revenue I could trust, so I created Blixo. I also wanted something small business owners like myself could afford, but continue to use as they grew. Long story short, I’ve spent a lot of time automating time intensive manual accounting processes like billing, payments, revenue recovery, and cash application. Now I’m applying all the knowledge gained from these experiences to Blixo so our customers (big and small alike) can get paid faster.

    So what can Blixo do for you?

    Imagine you just landed your first big customer. When that customer accepts a quote sent out by Blixo, you can automatically convert it into an invoice. Blixo uses your customer’s preferred method for recurring payments and instantly verifies the customer’s bank account.

    Through Blixo, you can easily set up a branded customer portal for receiving payments or a hosted sign-up page so customers can self-serve for your subscription product.

    The customer portal makes it easy for your customers to manage their subscriptions, invoices, payments, addresses, receipts, etc.

    You can automatically charge customers via AutoPay or they can pay each time via the customer portal or by you processing their payment information.

    When a customer’s credit card expires, Blixo automatically updates the cards when possible.  

    If a payment declines, Blixo retries the charge when most likely to work and can send reminders until the payment goes through.

    Blixo lets you put your customers on payment plans if they don’t have adequate funds to pay.

    You can also create invoice and customer level chasing cadences to remind them to pay.

    You can set up cash application rules so that payments are matched to the right invoice and automate your reconciliation.
