Q: Wordpress plugin development and testing in the app

As you can see, there is a HIGH level of interest in this in the questions section. I want also to raise my hand and request that you add it to your roadmap.

A: Thank you for raising this request. We are evaluating this as a roadmap item. Testing Wordpress plugins is a bit complex, if there are any platforms you typically use for this, will be great if you can share those as a reference.

Sounds good, for reference Webflow is good for direct integration with wordpress, and then Zimmwriter (directly publishing the AI-written content to the Wordpress sites)

I liked Martin's suggestion of integrating playground.wordpress.net or perhaps your team could create a testing sandbox and integrate it directly.

Provided that the app can compile, you should be able to install it on a development server with ease. However, in my experience, it has indicated that it cannot compile ZIP files when I attempt to do so.

I haven't tried compiling yet, but that will be a deal breaker. I can compile plugins directly in ChatGPT.

I spoke with support, and they requested examples of our WordPress use cases. I mentioned that exporting a ZIP allows me to use it in my dev environment, while others may prefer exporting to WordPress.org or GitHub. You might want to share your use cases via chat to help shape their roadmap.

Yes, that was very helpful to understand the use case!
