Q: Hi, Looks like a great idea.

To get a better idea of what this provides, and thinking of smaller teams (5-8 people), what does this offer over Slack on it's own, other than convenience?
I'm asking because I'm curious at what point this is adding new features, compared to saving time setting these things up (for example, I could create a channel called Coffee Chats and Icebreakers, and add Slackbot responses).

A: Thanks for the question. There are a variety of chats, so they all work together and are configurable to your preferred schedule. If there is only one chat that you are looking for then perhaps you could build it yourself...but I'm guessing your time is worth more than $39. Setup is minimal and once you have configured it is all automated. We provide an easy-to-use framework to get it up and...

This is Alex with ChatFox!

Matt and I started building ChatFox a year ago because of our experiences as part of remote teams. Matt had consistent challenges around maintaining engagement for a global remote team and I had challenges around remote team isolation. It is a challenge to build meaningful relationships and great communication on a remote team.

As remote work has grown exponentially we wanted to give small teams a flexible, affordable, and effective way to build remote team engagement with automated chats.

When getting started with ChatFox our customers usually want to know 3 key things:
-How to make the app work with their schedule: You can customize each chat to repeat on multiple channels on multiple days, or in only one channel once per month. You can also disable chats. It is all done in the settings.
-How the app can reinforce their team's unique values: You can add/remove Icebreaker questions and add/remove your own skills and values for recommendations.
-How to ensure participation from their team: Get your leadership team involved and inform your team of what we do. Make sure team members connect their calendars and add their birthday!
