Hi, Looks like a great idea.

Hi, Looks like a great idea. To get a better idea of what this provides, and thinking of smaller teams (5-8 people), what does this offer over Slack on it's own, other than convenience? I'm asking because I'm curious at what point this is adding new features, compared to saving time setting these things up (for example, I could create a channel called Coffee Chats and Icebreakers, and add Slackbot responses). Thanks

Thanks for the question. There are a variety of chats, so they all work together and are configurable to your preferred schedule. If there is only one chat that you are looking for then perhaps you could build it yourself...but I'm guessing your time is worth more than $39. Setup is minimal and once you have configured it is all automated. We provide an easy-to-use framework to get it up and running quickly.
    1. Icebreakers: There are prepopulated questions so little to no setup unless you want to add custom questions.
    2. Coffee Chats: You just connect your calendar and it starts running. For a team of 5-8, you probably don't need coffee chats to be completely honest as you can find time on your calendar each week.
    3. Shout Outs: Anytime a team member wants to set up a recommendation it can be done using the shortcut bolt. Takes a few seconds.
    4. Birthdays: Team members enter it one time.

We are also building more fun and valuable chats for polls and team feedback. Because you never leave Slack it is a really smooth experience for one-time setup.

Let me know if I answered your question,

    Thanks!

    Alex

Oh, also wanted to add that ShoutOut skills are customizable in order to reinforce your team values.
