Great Alternative to Docusign!

I've used this a few times already and it's sooo simple to use! It's also gotten better and it seems like they keep improving. Please keep up the awesome work because I'll be using this forever!!! :D

Works just fine!

Really liking DocSketch. I was skeptical at first, but wow, it works just fine. I have had no issues with it. Its simple and clean. And when the document is signed, if you go to edit it after the fact, the document has been locked. (Not all PDF signing locks the document). Thanks DocSketch.

Nice idea, but not ready for prime time

Let me say up front that I really like the idea. The app interface is easy to use and will be one of the main selling points. However, as a product billed as a legally compliant solution for e-signatures and presumably intended to be a solution for professionals, it's not ready for prime time.

- When branding is turned on, it's far too intrusive. I appreciate the chance to "mute" the branding, but then it just looks very unfinished and unpolished.  There is no way for my clients to know that this is something my company is sending, and it's very likely to end up in the junk pile.  (In fact, one of the test documents I sent did end up in my spam folder).

- There's no way that I found to send from my company. While I sign as the rep for my company, I deliberately have an LLC to separate my business from my personal assets.

- When the email is sent, there's a very blunt instruction: "Review and complete this document" as the first line seen.  This is not apparent when creating the document and there seems to be no way to customize it.  The message can be worded more politely and customized, but it's buried below this borderline rude instruction.

- When sending a "view and track" document (which is a feature that really appealed to me), the email still says to review and complete the document, which is confusing.

- When the first user completes the document, it just sits there.  It feels like something should happen, but nothing does.  It would be nice to have some sort of redirection to a thank you page with information, rather than a popup.  Even better, the ability to redirect to a custom page.

- The notification of the document signing in progress has a typo in the email subject line - "document signing in progess".  Sorry to be the spelling police, but it's another example of how the product comes off as not production ready.

- The "archive" function is confusing.  I "archived" my test doc, but then it vanished, and I'm unable to see it.  If I'd "archived" an actual document that I wanted to retrieve (which is inherent in the definition of archive), I'd be unhappy.

- When signing and dating, the signer can select any date - this is a problem.  The date should be the date of signing.  I don't see how allowing the signer to choose the date signed is compliant with UETA.  Which leads to what is really the deal breaker for me --

- The service claims to be compliant with US and international signature laws. I see nothing indicating that documents signed through this system are compliant with electronic signature requirements.  There's no audit trail, and no way to prove what email address it was sent to.  I was able to change the email address on my test user, so now it shows that the "contract" was between me and an email address that never received the document.  I see nothing indicating the email address the document was actually sent to, no audit trail, no IP address, no date of actions, etc.

Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience. It is early days for us, but we're adding regularly features and improving the product. Docsketch is in fact fully legal with US and International esignature laws and we regularly work with attorneys to stay current on everything. Full details on the legal side can be found here: https://www.docsketch.com/docsketch-signatures-legal/

Great deal!

We were using Dochub for over a year and a half. We decided to take the plunge with Docsketch because the price was right. Let me tell you, Docsketch is so simple to use and the interface is intuitive. That's the issue we had with Dochub...we never felt we knew what we were doing with it.

Works Perfectly!!

I really cant see what business owner wouldn't need this.. It should have 100 5 taco reviews. So much more affordable than other solutions. Docusign is big in my area - I like Docsketch & its future potential more.
