Very poor customer service- almost nil
The platform is very well done, stable. Simple to use and well done. But no post-sale support. Poor customer service and thus dropped 3 tacos. You never get to a real support person. Everything handled by time waster bot that circle back with its own poor intelligence. I had issue with payment gateway, never seen human support, never seen reply to email requests and no resolution, it's more than 10-12 months. No help available at all until today. Dukaan is on auto support mode altogether, that's very bad.

Please Improve Customer Support
If you're looking for a somewhat-easy platform to build a website, Dukaan works pretty well.
As the CEO of a fashion brand, I’ve been using Dukaan for nearly a year to power our fashion brand’s online store. While there are some things I like about the platform, there are several areas where Dukaan needs significant improvement if it’s to compete on a global scale.
User-Friendly Interface:
Dukaan’s interface is one of its best features. It’s easy to set up and manage an online store without much technical expertise. Adding products, managing inventory, and making updates are straightforward processes, making it accessible for small businesses or those with limited technical teams.
Room for Growth in Customization:
While the basics are easy, the platform falls short on customization. The templates are limited, and creating a truly unique storefront is difficult without outside developer help. Dukaan would benefit from offering more flexibility in design and customization, especially as businesses grow and need more personalized features.
Third-Party Plugin Integration:
Dukaan advertises compatibility with several third-party apps via plugins. However, in my experience, this is misleading. Several times, I’ve reached out to these third-party app companies for support, only to be told they’ve never heard of Dukaan or don’t officially support it. This creates unnecessary confusion and hassle, especially for business owners who rely on these integrations to run their stores smoothly.
Customer Service:
Dukaan’s customer support is where it truly falters. Responses only come via email, and it often takes more than two days to hear back. When I do get a response, it’s brief, lacking depth, or difficult to understand—likely due to the outsourcing of support to non-native English speakers. While I understand Dukaan is based in India, they need to seriously invest in a more robust global customer service system if they want to compete internationally.
Potential vs. Performance:
Dukaan has the potential to rival platforms like Shopify, especially with its affordable pricing and ease of use. However, there’s been little visible improvement in the year I’ve used the platform. I want to emphasize that while the platform is functional, it’s not particularly responsive to its users’ needs, and it can feel like your business outgrows the platform quickly due to the lack of advanced features.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, Dukaan is a decent option for smaller businesses just getting started online, but for those looking to scale or need reliable third-party app integrations, it might not be the best fit. I wouldn’t discourage others from trying Dukaan, but potential users should be aware that the platform isn’t as responsive or feature-rich as it may initially seem.

Average service that could be much better
Here´s my review after buying the highest tier and trying to use this app for the last 2 years:
THE CONS:
- They promissed us all features and growth plan updates, but deliberatelly removed some plugins from our plan, forcing us to upgrade to "Enterprise plan".
- Customer support is non existant. Posts in the facebook group are rarely approved.
- Server is constantly with interruptions. Nowadays is becoming better but there was a time where everyday there was store downtimes. I emailed support several times without any response.
- Shipping fees are very basic, only with 1 fixed price. If you ship to different countries, then you will need 1 store for each country, which is a major inconvenient and makes it impossible to have a proper international store.
- Theme builder requires coding knowledge. Normal users are not able to use it.
PROS:
- The sites are very fast
- Launching a store is super easy. Compared with woocommerce this is a 1000th times faster. Can be done in less than 1 hour.
-UI/UX is great. Easy to navigate.
I´ve been wanting to use this freely without indrances, but without a friendly theme builder and without advanced shipping fees is impossible.
Hopefully they will fix it this time.

Sep 30, 2024Hey,
I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts after using Dukaan for the past two years. It's not easy hearing where we’ve fallen short, but it’s important for us to understand how we can do better.
Plan Changes: I hear you on the frustration with plugin availability. Our goal is to keep our offerings clear and beneficial to users, so we’re currently revisiting this to make sure...

Promising but a bit lacking
I have been super impress with the performance of the system. The pages loads quick and the process to upload products is simple. I love the AI description and image integration to help get products entered quickly.
I started to build one of our ecommerce site to start selling. It appears that shipping is only available by product price or fixed amount. And according to support, shipping by weight is not yet available. This is disappointing and not makes this system unusable for us because we sell some items that are lower price, but because of their weight, the cost for shipping is a bit more.
It would be best to able to setup shipping by weight, size, amount, and dimension of package. This is generally how the shipping companies do it and it would be nice if we can integrate with UPS, USPS, etc.
Hopefully this will be available soon. Unfortunate, even though I bought the unlimited tier, it will be a while before we can use this platform for our site. Needless to say, I am a bit disappointed. I'll be glad to up grade to more tacos when some of these really fundamental issues are resolved for us users in the USA. Thanks.
Yes, support is a bit slow and can take up to 2 days to respond. It would be good to have this improved as well. Thanks.

Support is slow
I was excited to try this out, but with multiple issues coming up, contacting support is basically like waiting for the polar ice caps to melt.
They are super slow with responding, if they ever do, and the tags for the store can't be edited by you (the owner) so I'm sure thats affecting SEO greatly, even if its supposed to be fast, it doesn't make sense if no one can find you.
I can't even enable the email marketing notifications for customers, even after setting up the smtp for the store.
That's just the recent issues that I've experienced with this.
Great idea, but in need of some serious changes to the platform and its support team.

Sep 30, 2024Hey,
I hear you, and I get the frustration—waiting on support shouldn’t feel like waiting for glaciers to melt. We're aware that response times need to improve, and we're working on expanding the team to address these delays.
On the SEO and tag editing front, I get how critical that is. We’re working on giving more control to store owners to customize tags, metadata, and anything else that...
