Hi All - I'm very new to Headless CMS but I have one use case I want to ask you about. Say I have a client site in HTML. It's just straight HTML/CSS site up on a GoDaddy host etc.. Can I create a blog for that HTML site with Flotiq? A blog as a sub-directory? And other archive style pages like an Events page? And 'team' or 'staff' page that link out to individual 'event and staff pages'. Does that make sense? What other tools would be needed? And what would the basic flow be? Also, could I create blog archive and blog pages etc.. with say a HTML funnel builder like Convertri? https://www.convertri.com/ Like can we style out a blog and embed it into an HTML page? Ok thanks!

    Hi,
Flotiq is more of a backend for your projects. With the help of our starters, e.g. https://flotiq.com/blog/building-blog-with-gatsby-starter, you can extend it to a frontend. Where you host is up to you. With GatsbyJS, you can generate a page as static files, so theoretically, you could put them in a subdirectory on GoDaddy.

I think it would be simpler and more convenient to move your pages entirely to Gatsby / NextJS (page generation frameworks, React) if only based on the one mentioned in the link above. In the case of the Gatsby project, you can easily transfer your HTML pages to the project, adding a blog, staff and similar subpages. We also recommend deploying on, e.g. netlify, a more adapted tool for Gatsby than GoDaddy https://dev.to/ivanadokic/hosting-gatsby-site-using-a-godaddy-domain-netlify-gatsby-netlify-react-hosting-e

Regarding Convertri - if they return HTML, you can safely connect it to the page with our starters by copying the appropriate HTML code to them.

Hello and thanks for the detailed recommendations/sop.

    I'm lookin now.

    But I missed the deal!

IT happens I'll look at your monthlies I don't need large package at all I just want to tinker and maybe for one client who's basically a straight HTML/CSS site so difficult to post new content to.

I'm learning to code but it's a process..

Will you be planning another deal?

    Ok thanks again!
