Great Application, Saves Tons of Time!

Been using this software amongst multiple locations for our companies. It works wonderfully for our employees to pick up extra shifts or when they need to book off sick. Now there have been some kinks, but they have fixed everything we needed fixed in a very timely manner. I'm extremely excited about GetMyRoster and I look forward to the continuous upgrades that they are constantly doing to improve the web app and the mobile app. You cannot go wrong with this application.

Very flexible and useful rostering saas

Very fast response support when I needed help over the weekends. I messaged them on Saturday and Sunday and they responded almost immediately! Very impressed with that.

Found a bug and they solved it very quickly.

Nice rostering app, improvable UX

Let me start off by thanking Appsumo and GetMyRoster for bringing this LTD to AS!

I was looking for a Rostering app as we schedule shifts for 80+ people in 5 locations.

The staff levels feature is fantastic as it ensures that some shifts are only allocated to the required level or above.

The things I'd love to see improved and would make GetMyRoster go to 5 Tacos are:

- allow for a shift to be require a specific staff level (higher staff levels not allowed)

- allow for a shift to requiere a specific certificate(s)

- duplicate shift (in the same day)

- manage shift rotations every XX days/weeks

- manage specific shift rotations for weekend days

- set business rules for specific shifts, e.g.: the person who does shift A (say a 13-hours shift on Sunday ending at 22pm) cannot work on these other sifts or during that time period (say Monday from 00am to 3pm)

- bulk change the status of shifts of a day, a week, a week's weekdays, a week's weekend days, etc.

- the weekly calendar visualisation is quite awkward when you have many (more than 4 I'd say) shifts overlapping in time

- the monthly calendar visualisation shows a maximum of three shifts per day

- allow to configure the starting day of the week. Here in Europe we tend to use Mondays as the first day in the week

- allow to configure the default time range seen in the weekly and daily calendar views.

- CNAME

- CNAME per location

- same staff allowed in more than two locations

- adding staff members in bulk from an excel or CSV file

Here are some bugs I've noticed so far:

- there is no way to scroll in the weekly and daily calendar views to see shifts before 6am or after 7pm!! If you create a shift that starts after 7pm and ends before 6am, there is NO way to see it in those calendar views. That's critical in our case.

- when clicking the "send email" button in the confirmation pop-up window from within the "edit staff" page, the pop-up window does not always disappear although the mail is sent, creating the illusion that it has not worked. Thus one clicks again and again, sending lots of emails, until the pop-up window finally closes.

Other things that would be great considering the AS deal:

- a public roadmap (maybe even with voting features)

- a change log to see the feature set evolution so far

Thanks for the Feedback and the awesome review!

We work very closely with our clients and we strive to make the platform better with your feedback.

With regards to

- Staff level, you could make use of shift levels in order to achieve this functionality

- Users can be in multiple locations, you can go to the particular staff and select other locations

- Reg: the calendar bug for 24/7 view, we are looking into it, but in the mean time you could make use of list view to view all the shifts for the particular date.

Fantastic, just what we needed!

So glad we found this software, it's exactly what we needed to schedule our team of 50 people, in 3 locations. This roster software lets me easily schedule unlimited number of employees and volunteers, at different locations!! This is going to save me a lot of money!

- I can easily create and then copy days and weeks of schedules! What a time saver!!

- My team is very happy to have a month and list view now. It's printable!

- I can schedule shifts per day, in case I don't care what times they work at or for example if a location always is open from 9-5 or open 24/7.

- I can create and assign shifts to specific employees, with specific roles. (staff, manager, volunteer or any label I need in the future.)

- I can create shifts and then have my employees pick which shifts they are available to work, which will save me so much precious time!

- It looks great and is available from both desktop and a phone app, perfect!

- It has the option to create and assign certificates, then you could make shifts only for people with the certificate, it's brilliant and safe in regards to regulations!

- It has emergency contact info option too, which I really appreciate.

I had some trouble getting set up and although I wish there was better documentation available for this software, the support helped me fast via messenger and was helpful, it works great now. I hope they will release a roadmap.

I do have some points of desire for improvement or wish it worked differently:

- The scheduling of availability is extremely customizable but also generates a huge list with at least 5 but possibly many more tabs per employee in the list. It's also a lot of work to set up and I wish this was easier.

- I wish I could upload a CVS with my employees or that I could share a link to invite my employees to sign up/join, rather then having to add them manually.

- I wish i can add custom fields to the 'edit staff member' pages.

- Wish I could schedule both one on one and company or location wide meetings that invites everyone on my team(s). Even more epic if it allows me to include a link to virtual location meetup.

- Although I understand that might not be the primary function of a roster software, I wish it gave me an option to send a push notification to all my employees, per location, or who is at work atm, where I can create the message I want to send myself. (lunch downstairs at 1, meeting at 3, can someone help me with xyz tonight?)

- It's unclear to me how often my employees will be asked to sign up for shifts, if they get reminders if there are open shifts and tbh I wish I could next to the automated process (which is great!) just click the button to send the notification myself. I know this Friday will be extra busy, so I want send a notification for folks to sign up extra.
