Made by a team that actually understands business operations and sales, not just service and project management

This review is going to kind-of be everywhere, but it's because it has so many features. I rarely see business OS apps like Heffl that actually understand how small and medium-sized businesses operate. Most of these are mainly geared toward small freelancers, but Heffl is packed with almost everything we could've asked for. The founder and their team clearly have actual business experience in multiple departments within a company, whereas most developers don't!

For example, the sales flow is primo. It's anticipated everything I use and need, in the sales process, including automatically bifurcating leads, from deals, from clients. It's so incredibly intuitive.

Even that fact that I can do EVERYTHING on the mobile app that I can do on desktop shocked me, as this is incredibly rare. There are a few bugs here and there with the app on mobile, but from what I can see, they are addressing some of them and improving. Again, this is the only mobile app I've used that has ALL of the functionality that the desktop browser-based app has.

I had some initial concerns about data residency and privacy, which are now mitigated since their recent announcement that they are GDPR-compliant.

To me, Tiers 3 and 4 seem to have the most value, with 4 including a lot of their newest features.

Templating is inserted everywhere from workflows, to forms, to emails, and more, and it’s refreshing. I can just copy and paste all of the templates we already use in a bunch of different apps, into one. They do give you premade templates, which is very helpful, but I still have the freedom to get granular on what I have already.

Client portals are great. I would like some more customization options though, including custom scripts (mainly to allow for automated walkthroughs and our chat widget, which are third-party tools we use in our current client portals). I have no doubt that they'll be working on that, as they've been shipping a lot of updates even during this LTD campaign.

I would love CNAME right now, and whitelabel on emails and client portals, and it would be nice to be able to use Square as a payment gateway, not just Stripe. But, overall, I'm incredibly happy with the app as it is. I was able to implement it with my team/business immediately, and the permissions system for my team is really nice.

This is going to save a lot of time, and allow us to provide better service to our clients. This all lends to helping us grow. Very well done :)
