Know your Meetings

I really dislike wasted time in meetings. Most of the time I feel participants don’t even know what the meeting is actually about! Knowtworthy strives to make meetings useful again. Initially it was a bit difficult to understand how to add meetings but their help/knowledge base was very good. Some other great features include:

- Able to add todo (checkable) tasks to each meeting

- Meeting notes can be edited simultaneously

- Great customer support. They reply quickly and are very friendly

- Team permissions, so different groups of participants can only see the meetings they are members of

- Can add “anonumous” participants without the need to sign up, great for participants who just need to be an observer

- Continous updates, awesome!

Improvements needed:

- UI interface could improve to make it easier to use

There’s a magic sauce to make meetings work, I think Knowtworthy is on the road to that but some features are still needed. Fully stacked!

Hello and thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that you feel we are getting at some of the core issues with meeting productivity with our application. We spent a lot of time early on - before we even started coding - working with potential users through focus groups, beta tests, and interviews to isolate the issues we saw in meeting productivity into a few key “pillars” that we have put the majority of our focus into.

As for your onboarding experience, we would love to hear more about what kind of roadblocks you faced / the questions you had while getting started. Based on some recent feedback, we have been working on revamping our onboarding experience and if you have any comments in particular, please feel free to reach out to us either through our chat in-app or on the community page. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you around on the roadmap and community page!

Your support really is top-notch =) Thanks for your reply. I'm already a part of your community group/page. Let me know how I can be of assistance or give specific feedback on your onboarding or other features. All the best!

Clean Interface, streamlined focus and a very responsive app

While it is still early days for Knowtworthy in some areas (especially in terms of integrations), I like the focus of the app on its core philosophy - increasing meeting productivity - for which it offers a great foundation.

The interface is clean and unnecessary ballast is avoided, which really makes a difference and feels quite refreshing.

Alex & team are second to none when it comes to support - their level of support and quick turnaround has really impressed me!

The Meeting App You've Been Waiting For

I've tried a number of other meeting agenda apps and this is the first one that I plan to keep.

Knowtworthy makes creating (and sharing) Agendas and meeting action items with meeting attendees simple. My team loves the shared Agendas, and I noticed a definite increase in preparedness from meeting participants when I used the Knowtworthy agenda vs when I send my usual sad google docs. 😂

The ability to have transcripts of meetings made live or to add recorded meeting files for transcription after the fact is a great benefit, but I'd keep this deal even without the transcriptions (the Agendas are that good!).

Customer support has been amazingly responsive and helpful.

If you are looking for a way to make your meetings more productive, Knowtworthy is a must-try!

Hello!

Thank you very much for your review, we greatly appreciate it! In our research (and from personal experience) we found that the single greatest increase in a team's productivity comes from having a set agenda and a set of action items for ~every~ meeting.

The ability to write great meeting minutes and review transcripts is a great bonus but nothing changes the efficiency of a meeting like a list of shared and collaborative agenda items, so we are very glad to hear you are benefitting from this feature as well!

As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions or requests, we're always happy to help!

Not ready for prime time

I like the idea. I purchased Tier 3. The experience is NOT intuitive. The online help is lacking. There are bugs in the program. When you create a new "team" it automatically creates a group for "actions items." When you delete a team, the group for action items is left behind. You can't rename a team and trying to create a meeting with transcription enabled is confusing. When you create a meeting from the dashboard, it says transcription is disabled unless you create a meeting from the "organization." Which is confusing, because the only way to create a transcription enable meeting is to go to the team view and create a meeting from the team's dashboard. Also, if you're interested in joining the "community," presumably to participate in the forum, you're given a login screen but no way to register - even though the invitation email says you can register. I'm going to give them a chance to respond to my email support requests, but this is far from ready for prime time. I'm certainly not ready to have my teammates join. They're going to be confused as hell.

Hello Bradley,

First off - we appreciate your honest review! We care a lot about everyone's experience, so I'll spend a bit of time elaborating on each of your points and hopefully clear up a few things:

First, when it comes to an intuitive experience, did you feel that the initial tour didn't explain enough about the app, or that even after the tour you still had issues figuring out what certain features did? We have a number of 'getting started' resources on our Guide page ( https://knowtworthy.com/guide/tag/getting-started/ ) but if there are any other resources you'd like to see, please let us know! User onboarding is critical and we'll make it a priority to improve.

Next, the bug you pointed out is quite problematic and I have gone ahead and created an issue for it on our public Trello roadmap so that you can track its progress. I noticed that you are already on the board, but I just want to note that we added the ability to vote on issues/features on Trello, so by clicking on the card and pressing 'Vote' in the actions you can help us assign priority to features in the future as well.

Next, there are different places in Knowtworthy from where you can create meetings. Purchasing an AppSumo license gives you access to an organization with certain features, but every user also has access to a 'My Meetings' section in the navigation bar which allows you to create meetings you don't want to have associated with any organization. We don't enable transcription capability in 'My Meetings' because of the way licensing works and the complexity and confusion this adds when a single user is a part of, or an admin of, multiple organizations at once. So simply put, if you are creating a meeting that needs transcription, that meeting should be created within an organization.

As for our Community page, we encountered some issues with bots and malicious accounts signing up and posting spam recently, so we had to close down sign-ups until we could get better moderation tools in place. I have invited you personally to join, but I also re-opened sign-ups to everyone since we were able to get some moderation rules in place. The community page is a great place to ask questions and suggest features and we look forward to hearing from you there!

Once again, we are sorry that you've had a negative experience right off the bat, but we'll do our best to help you out :)

As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests you have in the future. Thanks!

Okay. Customer support has been better than most. If I knew how to adjust my rating I would. I'd add another star. There are still a number of creature comforts that need improving. I know those fixes are in the pipeline. I'm just a bit surprised that the team released the product so soon. I'll be patient.

Here's the stuff that's been fixed:

1. If you delete a team, the other elements update as expected. However, you still can't rename a team.

2. The community is back open and active. That's very helpful. The team is monitoring support tickets and community feedback to put items on the roadmap / Trello board.

As more progress is made, I'll update my response.

user-avatar

Hello Bradley,

Thank you for the update! You're right that it is still early days for Knowtworthy, but we released when we did because we wanted our end users to be a part of the process for creating the perfect meeting solution. We're doing our best to develop creature-comfort features alongside new requests from users to round out a great experience. I appreciate you voting on the features you want to see on our roadmap though! This engagement helps us prioritize what users want to see, and the perks of a having a lifetime license means that you'll always be able to access the new stuff that comes out, so thanks!

One note - I did talk to the AppSumo team and they mentioned that reviews can be modified by filling out a change form which I'll link here: https://tacochange.paperform.co/

Once again, thank you for your honest feedback and contributions and I look forward to seeing you around on the community page!

user-avatar

Dear Bradely,

I can concur with your analysis.

Had similar experience and could not even get a single word of the transcript documented. All disappeared in thin air. Might have been a user (me) error, but such an app should be made foolproof and anticipate user errors if any.

user-avatar

Hello Hubert, Thank you for your honest review! I replied to your query about saving transcriptions in the Questions section above, and hopefully that helps clear things up - but please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
