Broken Platform, Missing Videos, and Unresponsive Support: I Demand a Resolution

The platform stopped working, my videos disappeared, and support is not responding. It is unacceptable to pay for a tool and end up without a functioning service, access to your content, or anyone willing to take responsibility.

This is the second purchase on AppSumo where I have experienced a situation like this. The deals look attractive, but when the product fails and the provider goes silent, what seemed like an opportunity becomes a major disappointment. As a customer, I feel scammed.

I enjoy buying on AppSumo, but experiences like these seriously undermine my trust. Promoting deals is not enough. I also expect AppSumo to step in when products sold through its marketplace stop delivering what was promised.

I demand a clear response, the recovery of my videos, and restoration of the service. If this cannot be resolved, I request a refund and an explanation of what happened to my content.

Silence from support is not a solution. I expect accountability, concrete action, and a clear timeline for resolution.

For about the last three weeks, we've been unable to get videos to be processed, saved, or conveyed for sharing. We really liked this tool and used it multiple times a week. Now it doesn't seem to work, and attempts to reach out to support have gone unanswered. As of just a few months ago, people from their team were soliciting us to buy other software that I assume they had developed, including Vida, a video editing software which we purchased. I'm really disappointed that I spent that money, considering that I feel like these guys are going to go dark in the near future. Is anybody else having issues with Konvey?

Videos don’t play on smartphones and tablets (the videos stay stuck on loading).
I had contact with Joe/konvey on this issue which made me hopeful things would improve so I didn’t make use of the 60 day refund policy.

Now, more than 2 months later, the issue is still there and no replies from Joe/konvey. In the meanwhile they started to use my email address to promote (their) other LTDs (similar to konvey).

I regret purchasing konvey and not making use of the 60 day money back.

I've tried really hard to make Konvey work, as I think it has high potential to replace Loom.

Some basic things are broken – e.g. videos don't play in Safari. Others have pointed this out, and I encountered it as well. I've written support, supplied videos of the problem (recorded with Konvey, ironically), tried to follow up – but no one responds. I've diligently submitted other bugs, taken a lot of effort to provide screenshots and details, but I no longer hear back.

In the first few months after purchasing the deal, support and the founder were very responsive. But now, radio silence, and it looks like the tool hasn't been updated in any way (that I can see) for some time now.

I really hope support and updates to the tool start again. That would be ideal! Otherwise, I'd rather they shut down rather than drag it out, so folks can take advantage of AppSumo's I Got Your Back guarantee.

I have a powerful laptop that handles a range of apps and recording capabilities. However, despite that, I cannot get a 'clean', high resolution screen recording using Konvey. I also have a terrible time getting the default mic to work properly. I resorted to opening Konvey in Chrome and trying to record the screen from Edge. Still resulted in delayed video, glitchy video, and very slow rendering of web pages in the browser. Often the screen was frozen in the recording. The results are even worse when I tried recording both screen + camera. I made attempts to troubleshoot with their team but that too failed. Huge disappointment.
