Hi, I am a bit confused, you are offering a 1 year deal for USD 400? Why would anyone prefer your platform instead of going to Shopify, one of the market leaders for even less money per year? What makes your product stand out to justify the investment?

Hi,

Thank you for your great question. When compared to Shopify, yes Lifeboat is more expensive on the subscription side however that is the only expense. Unlike Shopify, we don't charge any transaction fees and "hiring an expert" is also included in the price.

To put it in perspective, the cheaper model from Shopify would be approximately $50 less then what we are offering here (for a year). However, you would incur a transaction fee of 2% if using your own payment methods (what we offer). Meaning that after $2,500 worth of sales, Shopify becomes more expensive.

We are also providing, multi-provider checkout in 1 cart, meaning customers can choose to ship a set of items using 1 carrier, whilst using another carrier for the rest (depending on what you offer). All of this would be calculated in 1 cart, 1 checkout, similar to Amazon checkout.

Finally, and probably the biggest difference is that we are a new player in this industry and very eager to work closely with all the merchants that opt to use our system, so if there are features which you might not find today, we'd be more then happy to discuss and implement at no additional cost.

Thank you for your feedback. Quite an odd strategy you are following to try to "enter" a market by having higher prices.

I would suggest you offer a lifetime deal or lower your prices significantly to build trust, otherwise it will be very difficult to compete.
