Q: I bought several Rank Tracker licenses on an Appsumo deal with a lifetime access.

The tools was fine at first, but I found several bugs which i reported. The tool didn't have a lot of European data, which make it less useful for me at that time. So, i went with Seranking, which has a lot of European Data.

Then i saw that a new update was launched. Upon login a popup was preventing me to get to my data. Support is extremely slow and tickets are only being worked on if you pay an additional premium plan. Without that you are at the end of the line where you stay until you pay that premium plan. Or you must be willing to wait several weeks (the moment of writing this already 2 weeks have past. I saw other reviews of people who gave up waiting after several months). The only thing you hear is that your ticket is open, but you are "free" to get the addtional support plan and being helped within a day. This feels like a forced upsell, which out of a matter of principle i am not willing to pay.

When deciding to buy this product, this could be the way they are going to treat you too. So hopefully this helps other people to be aware. Hopefully Appsumo can help all of us by pointing this out to Rank Tracker, because of the negative effect it has when people buy software on Appsumo. Ps. i don't blame AS for anything.
