As an creative (+ 20 years in Advertising, Brand dev., Design Graphic & Product) - I have done plenty of sketching out product ideas.
- over the years I have bought several 'entry level' or "basic editions" 3D & CAD programs, and have started to do my own product, aiming for creating both visual renders & 3d print stl's. Have also started using both Fusion 360 as well as Blender (last one, to also do sceneries for my graphic novels, animations etc.)

BUT !! -> Always found the software to be much to complex/ capable to do just fast ideations of (minimalist/ design products).

So I had been looking around for a 3D / Cad software that would enable me to go from
idea to CNC'able or 3D printable products. So it needed to be both high end w. proff. features, but easy/ simple to use. - Seemed like an impossibility...

Then I saw SelfCad here on AppSumo, and thought that, thou it seemed attractive, it was properly "to light weight" for real use...

So I actually dived in, and went trough all information on their site, several you tube vids. and then came back here, to go trough it once more. - But halfway in - I simply clicked buy. As I realized that it met all my criteria.

- I see that with SelfCad, I can do fast 3D models, renders & Prints. Create Visuals, Animations and more. But most impotent - I can do it all fast, so I actually stay in "flow" making every design / job, fun and a breeze. So now I will get things done, even the fast idea, that ended up dying before getting done, as from idea to finished 3D model was to painfully long & slow.

So this so much value!
- You properly should have some basic understanding of 3D, to move at lightning speed, but even if you don't, they got several really good videos of how to's.

For this price, just get it.
- If for nothing else, even if you have not thought about 3D, 3D renders & prints etc. - As the world becomes more about AR & VR. - If you do anything online, you will soon find that 3D is about to become the new standard in all from ads to brand imagery etc. like Video did.
So get out in front, you wont regret it!
