Q: Some questions regarding Selldone
I have some questions.
1) I see in some answers that dropshipping is mentioned as part of tier 3 and more. But according to tiers listed on product page, only Listing and Marketplace builder are available / not available depending on plan.
As dropshipping is not mentioned, it should mean it is included in any tier. You are not clear about this. What other features are then not available depending on tier?
2) Do I pay Digital file transaction fee if I never store anything on Selldone cloud? I would sell gift cards activation codes which are stored on my system and delivered via API to customer when order made on Selldone store.
3) Is Transaction fee only for physical products?
4) Does Selldone have features for support like customer ticket, chat where I deal with customer inquiries regarding sold orders

1. About Dropshipping & Tier Differences
Yes, you are correct 👍
Dropshipping itself is not restricted to Tier 3+.
The main features that are restricted based on tiers are mainly:
• Marketplace Builder
• Listing Builder
Those are advanced multi-vendor/business-model features.
Normal ecommerce, dropshipping, POD, digital products, subscriptions, service selling, etc. are not locked behind those tiers.
So yes, this definitely could have been communicated more clearly on the page.
2. Digital Products & Transaction Fees
If you are selling downloadable files but prefer not to store them on Selldone servers, you can simply sell them as Virtual Products instead of File Products 👍
The higher digital file transaction fees (like 3% or 7% depending on the Tiers) only apply when:
• The file itself is uploaded and hosted on Selldone cloud
• And the product is added as a File Product
Otherwise, products like:
• Windows/software licenses
• Apple/Steam/PSN gift cards
• Activation codes
• API-delivered products
• Text keys
• External download links
• Any product where the customer receives a text, code, or external link after payment
can all be sold as Virtual Products.
In that case, the normal virtual product transaction fee (1%) applies 👍
So for your use case (gift card activation codes delivered from your own system/API), it fits much more into the virtual product flow rather than hosted file delivery.
3. Transaction Fees
Transaction fees are not only for physical products.
They can apply depending on the product/business type and fulfillment type.
Also, Selldone does not interfere with your payment processing itself. Payments go directly to your own payment gateway accounts.
4. Customer Support Features
Yes, Selldone already has built-in customer support features.
We have:
• Internal ticket/chat support directly connected to each order
• General customer support conversations outside of orders
• Customer inbox and communication tools
• Notifications and follow-up systems
So customers can contact you both regarding a specific order or through general support channels.
