There appears to be no way to satisfy the double opt in requirement. You can't send an email to someone who has not double opted in, so you can't send them the double opt in request; likewise, if you got it some other way (Send Fox help said for me to individually email people who signed up via a form) but there's no way to mark someone has having done it. Even if the individual email process wasn't an extreme amount of overhead (that makes you wonder what the form was even for), there's no way to "mark" someone as having double opted in. There doesn't seem any way to actually grow a list here....

    Hey, caltonia.

There seems to be some confusion with this message. The way we use double opt-in at SendFox is in alignment with how *every* quality ESP out there uses it, because it aligns with CAN-SPAM (U.S.) and GDPR (EU) regulations.

    To correct some inaccuracies:

    1) When a user subscribes through a form, API, or Smart Page and double opt-in is enabled, they are automatically sent a confirmation email. That confirmation email is in your Campaigns view and can be edited. If they didn't receive it, 99% of the time it's because they have a custom domain with custom spam blocking set up that blocks many things.

    2) We do not require double opt-in on CSV import, as we assume you already have legal permission to email those contacts.

At this point, we have 100,000+ SendFox users who are using SendFox to grow their lists and send emails.
