Simply Static

Product details

Q: Is this compatible & useful when using Divi or Elementor?

Also, does it covert those forms or just the ones mentioned (contact form 7 and a couple others)? What about other plugins like js-popups, chat widgets etc, do these still work with the plugins configurations when it is turned into a static site? Thanks for the urgent reply!

A: Hey, thanks for your question!

You might want to check our FAQ sections, as it contains ALL of the answers you are looking for: https://simplystatic.com/frequently-asked-questions/

Quick version:

Elementor: This is directly integrated and probably the most extensive integration we have right now (including forms, Elementor Pro, and several add-ons).

Divi: Works, but needs some configuration (basically disabling their performance settings)

JS-Popups: That really depends on the popup tool being used. Most rely heavily on Ajax and won't work, external ones work just fine (think of Mailchimp, ConvertKit and so on)

Chat: These just work the same way as in WP.

Thanks for your answers and the helpful link! Similar to disabling Divi performance settings, what about like EWWW Image Optimizer and other plugins which affect how wordpress works like HideMyWP/security plugins, must everything be disabled first?

Thanks Scott! Last question, is this editable once it is converted to static? Like if we want to add something from DivMagic not from wordpress, can we easily edit the site?
