A lot of potential so I threw down for 3 codes
Look: I don't do reviews at all but I figured I'd put in my two cents since I know as serial sumo-lings we have 60-day trigger finger anxiety.
A lot of PM tools at this juncture approach things with either:
1. Massive customization that requires a lot of input
2. Oversimlicity that requires us to sift through things and pray that zapier/webhooks/bots automate a good portion of the work.
Squidhub is WYSIWYG and for app junkies like us, that can seem insanely constraining except after a few minutes I've realized maybe not so much. It's not feature-rich, but it's feature-focused.
And maybe that's what we all need.
PRO's
1. There is a very low learning curve and instead of tabbing around or skipping, your documents and resources are all right there.
2. Group management is relatively straight forward
3. Andreas has been very responsive despite the challenges
Right now there's a lot to be improved but overall, I can see this being very usable in a month or so down the road (my teams already on-boarded and they love it). I know for a fact that they're currently working on rolling out a "My to-do's" section, and are working on fixing the user-management portion and coupon code redemption portion.
Once we can add automation and cross-communication between apps (discord/gmail/crm's/intake forms) I can see basecamp really getting a run for their money.
I mean 2 months of using this on 3 codes and you've already made your money back from basecamp.
NOTE: So theres griping on the Google integration challenge (calendar works but not drive) -- just so you know it's not just them. My NIMBUS note just lost access, Salesflare almost lost access and had to pay $$$ to be in compliance and I have a feeling a lot of tools we integrate with GSUITE are about to experience the same thing, so heads up everybody.
