Tarvent appears to be a robust platform. While I appreciate the understanding that one-time payment LTDs aren't ideal for sustained capital generation, I'm curious about the rationale behind choosing an "annual deal" structure instead of a "lifetime annual deal," specifically from a capital generation perspective.
Price predictability is a significant factor for early adopters. The Tier 3 pricing example highlights this: while the initial $206.10 for the first year is attractive, the advertised increase to $936 in year two (even with the 50% discount) represents a substantial jump. This raises concerns about long-term cost predictability, especially due to the lack of assurance against further price increases in subsequent years, potentially impacting the long-term affordability and value proposition for early adopters?
A: Great question and thank you for not just bashing. Even the 1yr deal is less than we can sustain for an annual LTD price. Honestly, this is new to us and we never considered making the 1yr a lifetime price. Call it short-sighted but we're a smaller team with a massive platform that takes a lot of time, just we clearly didn't spend a LS much time on thinking through the deal. That said, the 1yr...
A: Yes, Activepieces is on the roadmap. We just haven't been able to get to it yet. However, if you let Activepieces know you're interested, they may build out the integration. Due to all the interest, Pabbly and a few others built out their integrations with Tarvent for us as well.
That said, thanks for pointing out our integrations. I didn't know we were that close to AC on that front. We do...
You've said that users can rollover after the 12 months at 50% off for their existing tier , but it sounds like you cannot upgrade your plan and keep the discount.
What happens there. Is there a cost per thousand contacts or something?
A: You can upgrade during the AppSumo deal or when you convert to a standard plan at 50% off. You're not locked in. If you're on AppSumo at 10k contacts and, after a year, want to upgrade to 50k, you'll still get 50% off the 50k. That's the benefit AppSumo peeps are getting that no one else gets.
While on the AppSumo deal, we extend offers for upgrades via honest reviews and one-time fees as...
Some feedback on the deal structure: despite obviously being focused on lifetime deals, I'm not apposed to Annual deals and I like the idea of supporting a more mature product long-term but with a deep discount for our support on Appsumo... however the pricing change after the year is up really does put me off (despite being interested).
This is probably feedback better directed at AppSumo rather than Tarvent... but for me personally, while I would be keen to give a platform like this a try in a deal where the annual price we pay on AppSumo remains the price we continue to pay annually until such time as we cancel (rather than a new pricing arrangement a year from now), as the deal is now I don't think I feel comfortable committing to it.
If the deal structure were to change, then I would definitely reconsider.

A: Thanks so much for your feedback! I completely understand where you're coming from. While I wish we could lock in the 1-year AppSumo price forever, it's just not sustainable given the costs of running a full-featured platform like Tarvent. We designed our pricing to keep your risk low while still maintaining a robust service, and even at retail our prices remain competitive. With the 50%...
I hope that appsumo subscriptions make up a relative small amount of your customer base. Else not good!
AppSumo is not to make a profit on your product. See it as a marketing strategy. If we like your product more then your competitors, then WE will advice others to use your product! Then comes the profit. And we give valuable feedback.
Q: Tier 4 - 1 Year Later
If purchasing tier 4 with 30,000 contacts after 1 year my payment would be 50% of regular price. Yearly $2,184 or Monthly $227.50
A: Thanks for the question! When it's time to renew after your first year, you'll have the option to choose between an annual or monthly plan at 50% off our regular price. We understand this new AppSumo offer can be a bit confusing—we’re learning along with you and will update the deal details soon to make everything clearer. Thanks for your patience and for being part of our community!
Is it a hard pass because of what we're offering after the AppSumo deal or because I didn't clarify things? I'm just curious so we can address things correctly.
Thanks for asking Jason. Yeah it’s the final price after one year. Not worth investing in it to move to another service later because of pricing. Even 50% of retail site price is high. Does that answer your question? I hope so, as AS doesn’t let me reply without an actual question. I hope this goes through.. ?
Thank you for your comment regarding pricing and investment concerns. However, it seems that your post does not pose an actual question and instead provides a statement. This falls under the guideline of misusing the questions section, which is intended for genuine inquiries directed to the founder's team.

I know the comment space is limited, so I shared a more detailed response to another question—please take a look when you have a moment. We’re doing everything we can to offer a great service, but to keep things sustainable, we do need to adjust our pricing after the AppSumo deal. Thanks for your understanding.
You've said that you can roll over to the 50% off the regular rate and can upgrade prior to the end of the 12 months. What is the rate if you want to upgrade contacts after the 12 months is over. I take it the 50% off doesn't apply to higher plans than your existing tier.
I think this highlights the confusion this "deal" has caused. I am looking forward to seeing what "update the deal details soon" reveals, keen to remove myself from this confusion and decide if I will invest into Tarvent. I won't be locking into a "promise" of 50% off so my fingers are crossed for an affordable option that's designed for AppSumo rather than a Coupon site.

Q: Hi, I checked out your automations on Make/Boost, and you've got 36 integrations, impressive!
I looked up the big guys AC and they only had 46 :) any thoughts on adding Activepieces?
Thank you
