I'm STOKED--Works well NOW, will get BETTER

Upon my first introduction, I believed this tool to be fun and casual, but not quite there for serious entrepreneurial endeavors. TextWizard may still be a work in progress as of this review, but from the quick turn-around in following up on issues/materials that users have found problematic here, I can easily give 5 Tacos.

1 Taco for its awesome UI/X - it's fun to use!
1 Taco for its customer service response & the perceived longevity of the company
1 Taco for having most of the bases covered in ability - not even FRASE (which I have) does all of what TextWizard does now (or seeks to do in the near future)
1 Taco for its ability - I am a really good writer, but still I may be wordy when it comes to some types of writing--like cover letters. (I have used it to help me with one and boy, *it did a good job! I hated to admit that I should have sent THAT letter instead. :(
1 Tacos for being *affordable offering a TEAM plan for the First Tier is great.

Now, is this tool PERFECT? NOPE. But then, none are, esp. at this stage. And the very fact that one can even reference this tool alongside one like FRASE and CopySmith (both former AppSumo offerings and which I purchased and use).

Issues:
1) It has a few quirks: My Tag Generator is still paused at 50% (but I read here how it may be due to steep usage from new AppSumo buyers. (Get this under wraps quickly please!)
2) It takes several generations to get most of what I am looking to have to use in my business--and as was commented...the tool does not allow for an ease of regeneration OR of copying--(CopySmith it is not--but CopySmith was WAY pricier and was not great for TEAMS)

Now the asterisk:
* HINT: Truly, if you are a TEAM get UNLIMITED! I read here that they may allow for 1 user at 90,000 to 100,000 characters per month. (This would be GREAT, IF they do this.

Oh, and LONG Form, is really a few "short form". I found that it worked well if I think of it like that and have many generations. (After 3 -4 long form generations with a few changes in my writing--(ie. took out words with aLL caps, changed wording on subtitles, for example I was able to truly have a Blog article!) CONCERN? If you don't have UNLIMITED--fuh-get about it! ;)

Focusing on "My Recipes"

I've seen plenty of AI tools and have all of them on my shelf. I hope this one would differ from the rest of all. Why? Because of the custom templates like Frase and Riku.

I've found some good things about this tool:
1. The UI is clean, and that's the first thing that I look at.
2. The support is very responsive.
3. The roadmap is pretty good. I hope they will follow it.
4. As I said earlier, the custom templates "My Recipes" is my tool to use. This needs quite a bit of work right now. Edit, Delete, Example/Training Input Character Length Increment, Following Input Paragraph guideline, and of course quality.

What is missing? I need these small buttons:
1. Copy the generated content (I see the save button though)
2. Regenerate button for the low quality output.
3. In the long form editor there is no option for H2, H3, H4, etc.
4. I'd love to remove the "Get started started wizard, and welcome back not" Its occupying a lot of space.
5. Instead of opening output in a new popup, it would be great to have output in the same window.

I hope the "Custom generation recipes" become something like Frase Templates, Riku playground and CloserCopy Frameworks.

Right direction and great for marketers

I have been playing around with Text ai for a day or so and so far i am impressed in the direction this is going.
I love the UI, i think its one of the best i have experienced.

What I like

-UI and UX
-Create custom models
-The unlimited plan is fantastic for the price
-Support is incredible
-Quality of certain prompts

What i would like to see improved and i am sure this will happen soon

-General quality of responses.
-More models for social media and more specific.
-More instructions for long form to get the best quality results

I will definitely stick with these guys as they are hungry to make this a fantastic app.

Great UI & custom recipes

Pros:
- I've used a lot of AI content generators, and so far this one has the best UI. It's clean, it's easy to use.
- I like that I can create custom recipes
- The team is super active and supportive
- The product roadmap is really promising

Cons:
- Some tools still feel a bit beta-ish, but I'm sure the team will improve them

Overall I am happy with it. Would recommend.

Rough around the edges but has already paid for itself!

This product is incredibly easy to use and produces results extremely fast. Like most AI writing assistants, you do need to regenerate or rewrite some of the outputs at times but with a generous number of credits and the fast results that's not a big deal.

There are 2 reasons I'm not giving this product 5 tacos.
1. The AI responses need a bit more polish. At times it has included "Download the eBook here" or a full paragraph is nothing more than a series of quotes from a source, but the source is never mentioned or only a partial reference is made.

2. Due to the AI obviously quoting or copying content from sources there really needs to be a plagiarism checker built in.

Needs Improvement

I have mixed feelings about this product. I feel that it's too beta right now.

What's my opinion worth? Well, I'm the most prolific template author for Frase right now if that tells you anything. So I'd like to think I know a thing or two about AI tools.

Let's talk about TextWizard.

First the good stuff.

1. I love the UI. It's clean, sleek, and beautiful. I couldn't ask for more.
2. I like that this tool isn't using GPT3, which gets expensive quick. By using a GPT-J fork, the company's only costs are server usage, which is very sustainable for a long time. So the likelihood of this company folding in the next 6 months should be low.
3. The deal terms are also very generous.

Now the not so good stuff.

1. Very few templates (which can be solved over time, but it remains to be seen what the development speed is).
2. The custom "recipes" is basically worthless because of the way the input prompts work. It's so limiting, that getting usable output is virtually impossible. What this tool needs is a recipe input akin to something like Riku.ai or Frase. At the moment, I can't make anything decent with the way the recipe input works.
3. I'm not seeing the USP, especially given that it's not using GPT3 and has no SEO functionality.
4. I tried the long form twice and both times it got stuck at 75%.
5. It lacks any type of inline AI.

Conclusion
Is this review too harsh? I don't think so. Three tacos ain't bad. Plus, like I previously said, since it's not using GPT3, you don't have to lose too much sleep over usage costs. The next 60 days should give an indication of development speed and it will tell me if I should keep or refund.

I have to admit - we've had a massive influx of customers from AppSumo, and are experiencing some growing pains. That's also why a couple of your generations ended up stuck at 75%. Our engineers are scaling up our servers and we are sure you won't experience this in the future.

We're open to all recommendations and development ideas. We want TextWizard to be a tool that marketers won't be able to live without in the future. Your feedback is infinitely valuable for achieving that.

It isn't that great.

I tried it. The basic one has a 30K limit. That's not fair enough. Just 24 hours passed my limits now crossed 30k.

Article long-form stuck at 85%. The Pro badge is still showing when I already purchased it. It feels like I'm still on trial.

Wizard appears every time I click on generate content. That's wired to see. Also, the generation queue feels like not well, like instantly queue goes middle of the box, that should be either on top or bottom as my queue.

I tried to use the article to summarize; what did I get? For example, I asked you what you are doing, and You are telling me I live in the UK.

They should update the algorithm.

Always Stuck - No Support

It was always stuck on processing. Didnt even auto write a single line. Support is non existent. After 24hrs, i gave up.

Doesn't work

I'm surprised with all the good comments, no offense, but unfortunately this product is totally useless. Maybe it's going to improve in the future, but right now any free tool create more useful texts.
