Must Have

I have been waiting for a Managed WordPress service to come along with Appsumno for a long time. I run a small agency to mostly government and local EMS websites. Obviously, my biggest concern is security and downtime for these clients. I spend the majority of my time focused on the security and administration of our severs and less on actually building my business. Having a Managed WordPress option like TrulyWP is going to really boost my business, it gives me that headstart! I highly recommend ANY business to atleast purchase the 1 code. If you work with WordPress then you just cant go wrong having this in your back pocket. $69/yr will easily pay itself with 1 client.

Obviously its hard to review this type of deal after only a few days, but Ill do my best. My first impression was simplicity. Im not going to lie, I was concerned right off the back that the simply dashboard meant few features and little management over the websites. I was happily wrong. It is simple and clean but loaded with the features we all use for our websites already. And the best part is that it's server based not WordPress based. So those plugins I use to cache my sites like WPRocket, I dont need it and it wont bog down the server performance.

The one site I moved over so far has been blazing fast. I did not expect it. One of the Fire Departments I managed want lots of high quality photos, so as you can imagine its been a struggle to keep them high quality and not such a heavy load. I was getting about a 5.6s speed on a very optimized DigitalOcean droplet. After moving to TrulyWP I hit 3.2s and I didnt even use any of the optimization features they offer. Right out of the box 2.3s difference. Love it!

Normally I use ManageWP to move sites around and backup, however I used their migration plugin to move the website over and it was fast and solid. Not a single issue. I was extremely satisfied with it.

The two things I would love to see in the future would be access to MySQL and, while I know this is a Managed WordPress Hosting, having the ability to add PHP scripts to a wordpress directory would be a bonus. I have a few clients that use custom CRM php files and etc that it would be beneficial for.

In conclusion, not only am I stoked for this deal and think that this is a gem in anyones pocket, but I am excited about growing with this company and the future that it holds!
