I have been hunting for a web-server agnostic security solution just like Web Totem for a while and none were so ambitious or, if they went close, remained obscenely expensive. For what it promises, at the cost it does so, Web Totem (WT) is gold.

I picked up WT in May 2021 and have been playing with it on and off on a WordPress sandbox. Some of the issues I encountered early-on such as compatibility with Cloudflare (reverse proxy) no longer exist. Similarly, if there was an issue with their WordPress Plugin, it got fixed within a few hours of reporting. Notably, I am enjoying how the availability / monitoring module and the whitelabel reports work.

Web Totem's team has been responsive with my support tickets and helping resolve technical issues, including by logging into the sandbox I offered them.

However, I have not put up any serious production sites yet. Why? Because, before making such a move, at a minimum, I would love to see a 2FA login to Web Totem dashboard (you can edit WordPress files from their Dashboard). Secondly, I would like to see a greater interest from the WordPress community.

While I do not have a clear view of the roadmap (virtually no action on Trello ever since I purchased this deal), the product seems to be evolving - the second deal here has feature enhancements and my support tickets are getting resolved. I would happily recommend investing in this product and give it an year or so for stability and wider community participation. Remember, this is a security SaaS and such offers do not come often. When they do, most mature security platforms are prohibitively expensive. Buy Web Totem while you can.
