Q: Could you please clarify how the unlimited license works?

Specifically, will a single license key allow us to activate the plugin across all of our websites?
We're planning to create a white-labeled zip package that includes the license key, which would streamline our installation process across multiple sites. Additionally, we'd like to integrate this into our plugin stack so that when we launch new servers and run our automation scripts, the plugin will be pre-installed and pre-activated.
This setup would allow us as an agency to have everything ready before we begin WordPress development work. Could you confirm if the unlimited license supports this type of deployment across multiple client websites?

A: Hi Sumo‑ling,

Yes, with the unlimited license you can use a single license key across all of your sites. What you describe (pre‑packaging the plugin for automated deployment) is supported. We provide a way to handle automatic license activation, documented here:

A couple of clarifications:

- You (the license holder/agency) receive support directly from us. We don’t provide support to your end‑clients.
- For quickly getting your preferred settings onto multiple installs, you can use our export/import settings feature. Full automation of settings import isn’t available yet, but this makes setup much faster across multiple sites.

So yes, your planned workflow is totally possible with the unlimited license.

Would there be a way to manage the license key for clients so they cannot reuse it themselves? Or disable it if something didn’t work out?

In my head I would imagine a master license key and being able to generate managed subkeys to use for clients that can be revoked.

Not with subkeys at the moment.

The unlimited license uses one license key, and as the license holder you can manage activations from your account and revoke sites if needed.

I agree that managed subkeys would be useful for agencies, especially when deploying to client sites. It is not currently how our licensing works, but it is a good feature suggestion and something we may look at for agency.
