Sadly another victim - to lifetime is not lifetime. Offered a pro version and then dumped this version
The ytubebooster.app site says in an announcement bar at the top: "As of 14th January 2026, YTubeBooster.app is discontinued since the platform is now not compatible with the latest YouTube SDK and does not provide optimal output." And yet the PRO upgrade they flogged in 2025 does still appear to be operational on ytubebossterpro.app. In August 2025 they emailed "As a valued Appsumo user, you’re invited to seamlessly upgrade to the full version of YTubeBooster Pro. Experience advanced analytics, automated growth tools, and priority support — all free for the first 6 months." Posting this review as this purchase is worthless in case they try to return with their PRO version. Disappointing.

They Closed the website!!!!!!! and changed it
On the website, they announced the following: As of January 14, 2026, YTubeBooster.app will be discontinued because the platform is no longer compatible with the latest YouTube SDK and does not provide optimal output. This is not a lifetime deal; it is another offer that collected money from AppSumo customers and will be switched to a paid version. But when you research a little bit more, you'll discover they updated their service on another website: https://ytubeboosterpro.app/. They simply added a pro to the domain and shifted everything there with monthly and yearly payments.

This has happened to me before
I have bought Ltd apps on this platform before and while some have been great and so far held up their end of the deal there are a few that change things or shut down all together. That is why I will not pay for the additional membership anymore. They need to have some consequences for these type of vendors. I also noticed there is no response for the last 2 negative reviews.

ytubebooster seem to tapout
I tried to login to my appsumo lifetime subscription today and got redirected to their new "pro" website where you are required to sign up for a new monthly subscription account. That is so unfair to sumolings, you used us when you need us and take our money and ran with it.

Seems like it just works as an autofill once you set up your links and add a keyword it gives you suggestions for tags and keywords.
I like that I can quickly add tags, keywords and links.
Aside from that instead of it getting better with updates over time it felt more like a catfish because they just made a new “PRO” version that’s just seems like an update.
I don’t see any big improvements on my channel through the keyword suggestion from this app but having set up the one click link saves time.
I think the better app that was available on AppSumo Taja.ai give better results and creates much more than just keywords it does thumbnails, transcripts, time code chapters, description, title suggestions, and a virality score.
