I am a paying Vooplayer enterprise member who pays yearly. 5gb is a joke. I upload a 1gb video, but it uses 3 to 4gb of their storage space because they render it out in multiple resolutions. You can't stop it from happening. So my 50gb storage was gone with about 15 hrs of 1080p video.

As a Videographer/Marketor, this is a very useful tool. To be honest, I don't really care about the 5GB as I can use YouTube as a host. The main features I would say are the customizable "skin" of the video player, the locking content, no ads and the BIGGEST feature of being able to see the success of the video or ways to improve by the analytics. To get this type of info you have to pay BIG bucks! If this isn't your main thing and you mainly want storage, then this is probably not for you. Otherwise, this is a GREAT Deal. Go look as Wistia's $99/month to compare what a great deal you are getting here.

guys not only 5gb, but many features that are cool and unique such as funnels, password protect, pre-after ad roll not included. at least include those with stacking + option to upgrade to enterprise at anytime in future..that would at least make deal more or less good. leave cdn and 200gb for enterprise plans, but include other things..so at least vooplayer will be useful and not just a visual styler for videos

Hi there! Since we use and create a lot of videos for customers, may I remind you that you also have the option to use a solid desktop-based (preferably using hardware accelerator) compression programs? When customers send us videos like 1080 P - 250 MB, we try to compress them to at least %50, without compromising the quality.

that the reason i even wanted to check out the deal...was shocked they not included...

I made the same mistake of going to their site and checking out all the cool features. Since there was no mention of a lesser plan, I assumed that the app sumo plan included what was featured on the site. I watched the 15-minute video and got crazy excited. came back to app sumo, got my wallet out and then I saw the questions. :( I'm pretty disappointed now. The funnels feature was the biggest draw for me.

I pay yearly for Vooplayer. What previous lifetime deal was there?

I bought VOO based on Tracys site. I think this plan is the same as hers, but for about $20 less? Correct me if I am wrong....
And yes..since then they dropped this plan and now offer only the enterprise plan.....(except for special offers, i guess)

If we share with friends but no one buys, do we still get the extra 5gb?

Let's say I buy 7 codes and share w friends. Does that mean I get...

5gb base purchase + 5gb for sharing for 1st code
Custom start/stop times for 2nd code
Floating vid for 3rd code
10gb x 4 codes = 40gb + original 10gb = 50gb?

Since I am already on your yearly enterprise plan that has 50gb, will buying 7 codes provide me any benefit?

Am I essentially paying $79 x 7 codes for no benefit, since I already have all those features and more in my yearly payment enterprise plan?

In other words, is the lifetime deal worthless and wasted money if I continue paying for enterprise? If so, a lifetime deal seems to act only as a safety net if I ever decide to stop my yearly enterprise payment and downgrade to the lifetime deal I'd buy now through AppSumo, yes?

wait so where are all marketing features again? password protect, subtitles, floating video agian not marketing just player fetaure...where are funnels? ads?

For previous deal buyers, the new features are unlocked to?, because inside my account still request to upgrade to a higher plan. Also, Is it possible to us stack codes to unlock floating video and customs start/end?

@Bill, why did you not add "Custom start/end times feature" to the modification of this deal?

I though for sure such a fundamental feature would be added, but instead it's treated as if it's a premium, advanced feature. Since I'm asked to shell out another $79 for just this one feature. This seems way out of proportion.

I undertand you charge extra for features such as funnels etc, which are great value ads. But this is just a basic feature. It's like selling a car without window wipers for cheap, and then putting a very high premium price on just that one basic but important part :(

Thanks for the gesture we are getting closer although I expected a bit more. Can you at least add funnels as an upgrade? Coolix currently has funnels in their regular deal.

I already have the Pro lifetime, so no real use for that deal (except for extra space)...

But what I'm "afraid" is if you do like I've seen previously on other deals: you decide to send all your AppSumo subscribers a special link to buy the Enterprise lifetime version at a special price... I since I didn't buy it through AppSumo, I don't get that link/offer...

Do you plan on doing such thing...?

Also, this deal is suppose to include branding, but when I get to the Video page section to customize it (and remove Vooplayer's logo), it tells me it's an Enterprise feature... Does that deal unlocks that, or you're talking about a different feature?

I have bought an additional code, but do not know where to add it in VooPlayer dashboard to enjoy of the below features:

1) 10GB of storage
2) Floating Video feature
3) Custom start/end times feature

This is a very generous offer if you know anything about the power of Vooplayer. They have been around for a while and continue to add value for their customers with their player. I have been using their player since 2015 and pay yearly for Enterprise. So they really don't need to prove themselves.

There are no other players that do all of the things that they do without paying the big bucks to a company like Wistia.

If you don't like the deal, continue to use the tired video players that you have been using. That is if you are even using one at all.

If any one recognizes 1/3 of the power of this player, they will make 10x's their money back quickly. The split testing, watch gating and audience segmentation is major.

Instead of trying to measure what your missing, use your imagination to think of ways to put this baby to work for you now!

I agree. I was going to buy it, until I saw that it was only 5GB.
