Q: What do we do regarding system emails when we have websites hosted on 10web?

I recently moved a site to Cloudways and found out I had to get a third party email system such us Elastic Mail or Mailgun SMTP for form submits and WordPress user password reset emails to arrive at their destinations.

Would that be a similar case with your service or do you provide system/transactional emails from your server?

Regards.

10Web only provides WordPress website hosting. As for hosting your emails - we highly recommend G Suite, due to its comparatively affordable price, great features and security.

I thought the USP of your product is "all in one?" It would be so great if you also offered email hosting in my opinion so we need not rely on a third party provider.

that's very bad news :(

Thank you for the suggestion. Please submit your idea here :https://help.10web.io/hc/en-us/community/topics and we'll take it into consideration

I don't think you fully understood this question...

The question is regarding "system emails" - I already use Gsuite for email hosting but when someone fills out a Contact 7 form on my website or if I reset my WordPress password, these emails are NOT sent/managed by Gsuite.

In a standard hosting/cPanel situation, form submits and WordPress password resets are sent to me from the hosting provider...

With Cloudways, they provide zero system emails so you have to set up SMTP, Elastic Email, etc to receive form submits and WordPress password resets.

How does this work with 10web?

Hey Greg,

With 10Web you also will need 3rd part email providers.

Thanks, Art

Urgh. I'm new to shopping for managed wordpress hosting but alongside 10web, I'd also need 2 email hosting services? One for emails and another for system emails? Still contemplating cpanel until I learn more.
