Q: Hi again, 1) While syncing my calendars, it was asking me permissions to download contacts, edit events etc which I denied.
Is this info needed for the experience?
2) Once I signed in, I am unable to move on to the next step. The only option I see is to 'add account', no continue
The idea is great and I loom forward to using it once I figure out more. Thanks!

We need contact permissions because everything we do revolve around contacts. We can give you LinkedIn information using the contact email, we pull relevant emails using contact email - so we request it.
Edit events - If you plan to create an event in the app - a follow-up meeting after your meeting, that permissions allows us to create -- it is both add and edit permission combined.

There is a skip button on top to move to the next step. We should be highlighting. Good catch. We will implement it in the next iteration.
The idea is great and I look forward to using it once I figure out more. Thanks!
Thanks, please schedule a call at your convenience at https://calendly.com/get1page/appsumo and we can give a walkthrough of the process.
Hope that helps :)

The list of contacts is required to associate related contacts for each calendar. In the next iteration, we will separate the permissions. All your contacts from calendars, email, CRM etc, will appear in the contacts tab. When you click on any of those contacts, you will see 1Page summary of each of them. So, it is essential for the experience.

Happy to help, looking forward to our call to help you use 1Page in best possible way.
In the new version, we are removing contact permission from the calendar permission provider and creating another provider for contacts, that way you will not be forced to give access to contacts.
The app is aimed to help you get anything relevant from any applications you connect. So we had added that as combined permission to avoid having to sign in to multiple providers. However, we see the reason and we are making that change. You will be able to see the changes in few weeks going live after testing is complete.
