Q: Any chance of upgrading design for future?
Alternatives like SheetMagic look like they have a more user-friendly and responsive design.

SheetMagic is not really an alternative. With AahSheet you get direct access to the code. You won't get that with SheetMagic. SheetMagic is offering functions where you add a =functionName("data here") into the cells. There is no responsive design... they are an add on in Google Sheet. AahSheet is flows and a content system built over 3 years ... I can rebuild SheetMagic Functions in a day. Its really difficult to compare the two systems.
