Abowire sets out to be an "order-to-cash" software platform built for subscription-based companies. And in that department, they deliver.

Signing up via Appsumo takes a few more steps, but the process ran smooth. You can tell out right that this is not your usual work-in-progress kind of startups we so often come across.

Onboarding is welcoming, and their Technical Docs at https://docs.abowire.com/ (using GitBook) is detailed enough but not overwhelming.

Support is quite responsive. My question sent via their help widget on a Sunday afternoon was replied first thing Monday morning (although a follow-up email to [email protected] seemed to have lost along the way somewhere).

My only complaint so far is that it the checkout interface makes the address fields required, and we have no way to customize that. I thought it would be good practice to minimize collecting personal info, esp. when billing address will be collected later during payment anyway. And asking for a customer's full address when they sign up does not exactly help.

Their pricing ($199) comes with unlimited subscribers, administrators and revenue, which I think is a good deal when it comes to ecommerce solution.
