Heads up—this review might get updated later, but here’s my take for now.

First off, I love the concept and direction of Abun. Unlike other AI tools, Abun makes article creation simple and easy, aiming to produce high-quality blog posts with minimal manual effort. That’s a big win in my book. Most AI content generators require tons of editing, but Abun keeps it light on the edits.

At first, I was ready to give it a 5-star rating because using it was straightforward. But then, two problems cropped up.

First issue: the speed of generating blog posts is just too slow. I tried creating an article, and even after 20-30 minutes, nothing happened. Eventually, I gave up. I reached out to support but got no response; they just ended the conversation without any reply. It felt like they couldn’t handle the issue and decided to cut it off.

The second disappointment came when trying to create articles in languages other than English. The tool has this feature called “Critical title suggestions based on keywords.” However, the suggested titles were English-based and completely unusable for Japanese content. Clearly, Abun isn’t suited for generating Japanese blog content.

Long-term, Abun could be fantastic. For English content creation, it’s pretty good—I’ve made several English blog posts that turned out well. But for Japanese content? Not so much. The title generation didn’t work at all, indicating it’s not fit for Japanese articles.

On top of that, the blog generation speed is painfully slow compared to other tools like NeuronWriter and Scalenut. Those tools also take time but not as much as Aban—20-30 minutes is just too long.

So there you have it—my review. I don’t like giving bad reviews to companies or products trying to grow, especially those on AppSumo, but these issues needed addressing. Here’s hoping for improvements down the line.
