Needs Major Improvements: Confusing Setup, Hidden Costs, and Slow Theme Import

I wanted to share my experience with your platform. Unfortunately, I found the process of importing themes confusing and frustrating. Even after upgrading to Pro and purchasing additional tools, the import button for themes still didn’t work as expected. This resulted in a slow and tedious setup, which is a real drawback when time is money.
Another issue was the presence of extra fees that weren’t clearly mentioned upfront—this felt misleading and added to the frustration. Even though I was able to import a single page, the process was time-consuming and confusing, especially since it built on top of WordPress’s default (Tweety) template instead of providing a clean slate.
Overall, the lack of AI features and slow processing makes Academy LMS feel outdated and inefficient. In today’s fast-paced environment, a tool like this should streamline setup, not make it harder.

While we do have an ecosystem with integrations for other plugins, you are not required to purchase them. In fact, 95% of our other plugin features are completely free for Academy LMS users. If you're familiar with WordPress, you’d understand how plugin ecosystems work. Without thoroughly evaluating the plugin, such claims are misleading.
Academy LMS is a top-rated LMS plugin on WordPress.org. If we had hidden costs or major performance issues, we wouldn’t maintain such a strong reputation.
The speed of demo data import depends on your server configuration and internet connection.
If you import without images, the process will complete quickly.
If you choose to import with images, it may take longer due to file sizes and server performance.
