Yet another weak and uninteresting LMS plugin
It quickly becomes clear that this system isn't ready for serious use. It's confusing, the course editing is bad, the flow is unattractive. Template kits are weak and poorly crafted.
If you're going to create a new LMS plugin, create something that enhances what's already there.
One star for having its own course sales engine (which eliminates the need to install WooCommerce), and another star for having custom blocks specifically for LMSs (although, in my opinion, they shouldn't be included in a plugin with other blocks, but in a LMS-specific plugin with just those blocks).
I've tried several LMS plugins for WordPress, and I have to say, I'm very skeptical about the positive reviews I see here. I hope I'm wrong.

Sep 8, 2025Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly appreciate it.
We’d like to clarify a few points:
Templates: Academy LMS provides both Elementor demo templates and Gutenberg-based demo templates, which are free to use. Since Academy LMS is a plugin (not a theme), we only offer some basic starter designs to get users started. For more robust or advanced designs, you can explore a wide variety of themes on ThemeForest that are fully compatible with Academy LMS.
Commerce Options: Academy LMS supports WooCommerce integration, and we also provide our own built-in eCommerce solution through StoreEngine for those who prefer not to rely on additional plugins.
We’re continually working to improve the user experience, especially in course editing and overall flow, so your input is very valuable to us. Hopefully, you’ll find Academy LMS evolving into a stronger solution with each update.
