Strong Alt Text and Translation Features Stand Out

I purchased Accessify through AppSumo to evaluate it alongside WebAbility, which I currently use on my own websites.

The strongest part of Accessify is its alt text management workflow. The platform provides a dedicated dashboard for reviewing, generating, and managing image alt text, which is one of the more polished implementations I've seen. Built-in translation support is another notable feature, especially for multilingual websites.

The platform also does a solid job identifying accessibility issues. During my testing, however, the biggest difference between Accessify and WebAbility wasn't the reporting—it was what happens after issues are found.

For many website owners, knowing there is a problem is only half the battle. Most people don't know how to fix color contrast issues, ARIA labels, focus order problems, missing accessibility attributes, or other technical accessibility concerns. WebAbility places a greater emphasis on remediation by automatically addressing certain qualifying issues, clearly separating what was fixed from what still requires human review, and providing additional guidance for unresolved items. That workflow felt more practical for non-technical site owners.

Accessify's strengths are alt text management, translation capabilities, and its straightforward page-level accessibility workflow. WebAbility's strengths are broader accessibility coverage, remediation capabilities, and a more mature overall platform.

Both products are worth evaluating depending on your needs. I published a detailed side-by-side comparison after testing both tools:
