I thought this was supposed to be easy and no-code. I want to love this . . .
I purchased Activepieces yesterday - so excited to find an affordable Zapier alternative! I bought this SPECIFICALLY for 2 pieces: LeadConnector/GoHighLevel and Airtable.
This was supposed to be easy. I have spent at least the past hour trying to connect LC/GHL to Activepieces. It turns out the API key function was deprecated a month or so ago. The connection now requires a Client ID and Client Secret, ***for which I have to create an app***! I could barely find any guidance on this online; the requests for help in the online community have gone mostly unanswered. Here's what I did find:
https://community.activepieces.com/t/lead-connector-gohighlevel-ghl/3706/3
https://highlevel.stoplight.io/docs/integrations/a04191c0fabf9-authorization
and a Loom video, which I barely understood at all:
https://www.loom.com/share/f32384758de74a4dbb647e0b7962c4ea?sid=0907a66d-a160-4b51-bcd4-c47ebae37fca
It seems I'm not the only one who didn't understand this explanation on Loom, based on the high number of thumbs-down on the video. I was completely lost at the black screen parts.
How can this possibly be considered no-code?!
I then tried to use webhooks, which I only slightly understand and found this:
https://community.activepieces.com/t/authentication-for-webhook/3723
However, there is no guidance as to what the Header Name and Header Value are, and where I'm supposed to get those.
I was hoping this would be my Zapier replacement, but if I can't figure this out, I'll be refunding my Tier 3.
A HUGE problem with this LTD is the explicitly stated lack of support for TLD holders in the "IMPORTANT NOTES" section of the AppSumo page. You'll only see this if you click to expand the "Read more" link.

2️⃣ We don't offer direct support with LTDs. The reason is that there are literally infinite automation scenarios you can come up with on Activepieces 🤖 which requires a huge team to support, and we don't have that team (and we prefer to stay small and ship features very quickly).
However, we hangout in the community, read as much as we can, respond to as much as we can, and the community is fairly active and helps with use cases.

I hope the developers see this review and reply, because the posts in the community automatically close 15 days after the last reply. As I said, several of the community posts asking for help on this were closed in an unsolved state.
This sure isn't as easy and no-code as it is being promoted.

Jun 12, 2024Ironically, the community post you sent was answered by Kishan (our team member) and you never replied to him that you don't understand the answer. The post closed after 15 days and you could've opened a new one.
We stopped auto-closing posts in the community to offer a better experience to our members, but your review is totally unfair.
Anyway, sorry that you had a bad experience with Activepieces.
