After 6 years with Mailchimp, rising costs led me to explore alternatives. 5 months and several trials later, I found Acumbamail. The switch was a breeze, especially with their easy import feature from Mailchimp.

Quickly listing down the pros and cons here:

Pros:
- User-friendly Interface: Easy to navigate, intuitive drag-and-drop editor; great for beginners and email marketing pros alike.
- Amazing selection of templates: Wide range of email marketing, landing page, and survey templates.
- Easy list segmentation: Allows for targeted and personalized email campaigns.
- Automation features: Setting up autoresponders is a simple and straightforward process, especially when compared to Mailchimp.

Cons:
- There's no direct import option for ConvertKit and other ESPs. You need to manually download your email list as a CSV file and then upload it to Acumbamail.
- No list-based pricing. If you have a larger email list (>10,000 subscribers), you may need to upgrade to license tier 2 or 3.
