Interesting Mailchimp alternative
Acumbamail is an interesting product. It offers most of the features that core-mailchimp has, from templates and distributed sending to rss-based emails and of course a visual editor.
There are quite some things that could be added still of course, such as optimized sending times for a given audience and much more and deeper integrations or API extensions, like being able to connect SyncSpider and having webhooks. But the essentials are there.
Another plus is that they are EU based in Spain (their servers are also in Spain) and as such they have to conform to GDPR, guaranteeing a privacy first approach.
However, the agency feature is what is most interesting to us, we have clients scattered accross various mailchimp accounts that this tool might be able to bring together.
We have not gotten access to the agency tool yet, so I cannot determine how useful it is.
I will update this when we have been able to use the agency feature.
