Unsatifactory email delivery

I started using the service in November 2024. It was working OK. In the last 2 email campagins 1+ months ago, some of my family members and my other Gmail account with Gmail email addresses did not receive campagin email in inbox AND spam folder, even though it was not a problem before. I contacted the support. I got the standard email delivery info with a link to an article. I am creating a new campagin now. I have sent test emails on the camppaign creation page to my 2 Gmail accounts + 2 non-Gmail address AND the email address in the Acumbamail account. None arrive (not in spam folder either), even after 30 minutes. Emails sent to Gmail used to arrive very fast. I think something is wrong with their email delivery. It is getting worse and now it doens't seem to be working at all. I am looking to switch to another service, as I can't relay on this service any more.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and for your continued use of our service since November 2024.

We understand your concern regarding the recent email delivery issues you've experienced, especially with Gmail addresses. While your campaigns were previously being delivered without problems, it’s true that lately, certain email providers — particularly Gmail and Yahoo — have implemented stricter internal filtering policies.

What’s happening in some cases is that these servers technically accept the email (so we receive a delivery confirmation), but then filter it internally so it does not appear in the inbox or spam folder. (anti-spam measure) This is rare, but it usually occurs when:

- Emails are being sent to subscribers who have not recently (within the last 12 months) confirmed their interest in receiving such content.
- The email list has low engagement — for example, low open rates or interaction.
- There is no recent or verifiable double opt-in for the subscribers.
- There have been previous complaints (spam reports) or high bounce rates ("hard bounces").

These factors may lead email providers to classify the campaigns as low-quality or unsolicited, even if they were accepted initially.

Fortunately, this situation can usually be reversed within a few weeks by improving engagement and list quality. We strongly recommend reviewing your subscriber list to ensure that, all contacts have recently and clearly opted in to receive exactly the type of content you're sending.

We understand how frustrating this must be, and while we work constantly to maintain high deliverability rates, part of the equation depends on the quality and engagement level of each recipient list.

Regards,
