Very happy agency
Not a big reviewer, but had to leave some love for Acumba.
As a small agency, monthly fees for Constant Contact and Mailchimp were getting out of hand. I heard about Acumba their first time around and decided to purchase tier 1 to test it out.
Since most of my clients are Latin American charities, the Spanish language did not bother me at all, however my non-Spanish speaking clients sometimes get confused with the random Spanish popping up here and there (machine translated it seems).
Pros:
* Very generous limits. Email them for more love if you need more than 300,000/mth.
* SMTP available (must email them to activate).
* Agency account (must email them to activate).
* List cleaning.
* Stupid simple newsletter builder. My clients LOVE this!
* Very responsive support.
Cons:
* Whitelabel. I'd say it is not 100% since it requires a different url to log in (yourbrand.emlsend.com/login) instead of a fully custom/branded one.
* Machine translated documents. Can't blame them as they are originally a Spanish company.
* Very simplistic automations. While I never used the more advanced powers of Constant Contact or Mailchimp, having more abilities with logic and automations would be nice.
Overall, 5 tacos for Acumba. Small tweaks to the cons section could really make this even better, but currently with what it has I am more than happy. If you are primarily a Spanish speaking oriented agency, their videos, support and training are top notch. The English isn't too shabby either if you don't mind wonky machine translations.
