A Promising Social Media Management Tool After a Long Wait
I’ve tried quite a few social media management and automation tools, from Buffer and Ocoya to IFTTT, and Adaptly Post is looking like one I’ll be using regularly.
What I like most is the RSS integration, which works well for automating posts. I also appreciate the variety of supported social media platforms and the overall potential to streamline content distribution. Analytics is also good and visually impressive.
There are a few areas where I’d love to see improvements. Some of these might be limitations imposed by the social media platforms themselves, or perhaps features I haven’t figured out how to use yet, but here’s what I’ve noticed so far:
YouTube: The ability to create YouTube Community Posts would be a great addition.
TikTok: Text formatting doesn’t carry over correctly, and posts often get truncated. I have to fix the text manually almost every time. Preserving paragraph breaks and the original formatting would make a big difference.
Instagram Stories: Image sizing can be inconsistent. Sometimes images appear cropped or significantly enlarged. It would also be great to add clickable URL links to Stories, if the platform’s API allows it.
LinkedIn: Image posts work great, but I haven’t been able to get link preview thumbnails to appear when sharing URLs. These previews show up when I post manually or use some other tools, so it would be great to have this working in Adaptly Post, too.
Analytics: Adding link-click data would make the analytics much more useful for measuring engagement and traffic generated by social media posts.
I still need to explore the API and AI Agents features, but the concept looks exciting. The inbox feature is another promising addition that could make managing multiple social media accounts much easier. If WhatsApp messages could be managed from there as well, that would be absolutely mind-blowing!
Overall, Adaptly Post looks like a promising tool with plenty of potential. It already does several things well, and with some refinements to formatting, platform-specific features, and analytics, it could become an excellent all-in-one solution.
I just hope the team continues developing and supporting it for the long term. I’ve seen promising tools disappear in the past, and I’d love to see Adaptly Post stick around and keep getting better.

Oct 28, 2026Hi! Thanks for the detailed review, it helped. Here's where each point stands:
1. YouTube Community Posts: YouTube's API doesn't allow publishing them, so no scheduling tool can create them.
2. TikTok formatting: we send your text to TikTok exactly as you write it, line breaks included. TikTok's API removes line breaks from captions, so this is on TikTok's side for now.
3. TikTok truncation: we checked your posts and TikTok received the full caption every time. TikTok's app folds long captions behind "more". We also raised the caption limit for TikTok photo posts to 4000 characters, which is TikTok's real limit (it was 2200 before).
4. Instagram Stories: fixed. A Story image that isn't 9:16 now goes onto a full 1080x1920 frame, with the whole image visible over a blurred background. Instagram no longer crops or zooms it. This also covers Stories shared from a feed post.
5. Links in Stories: Instagram's API doesn't support link stickers, so we can't add them.
6. LinkedIn link previews: they work for text posts. Post the link without an image and LinkedIn shows the preview card. A post with an image attached can't also show a link card, that's a LinkedIn limit.
7. Link clicks: most platforms don't report link clicks through their APIs. Use our built-in link shortener (Switchy) and you get click tracking on every link, on every platform.
8. WhatsApp in the inbox: not planned right now. We'll look at it once the inbox is out.
