A tentative five
This should be prefaced a disclaimer that I've been only using AdaptlyPost for about 10 days, and it that time, I haven't encountered any major problems. I was going to give it a solid four, because I was missing a template library, but I saw it on the road map.
I like that it's a platform that, even though it includes AI, does not rely on it. Which means that if anything changes in AI sphere (cost, access, etc.), the platform won't go out of business: it's 100% usable without AI.
Pros:
- Everything truly in one place. I hope they'll keep adding up-and-coming social platforms like Upscrolled too.
- Love the credit system for X and how it works based on publishing date, not scheduling date. This way I can schedule weeks (months!) in advance and not worry about running out before they refresh for the next month.
- Analytics look really nice. And I love that it also pulls the posts that were posted directly.
- Feature request directly in the platform: a small thing, but it's appealing that you don't have to go somewhere else, create a new login, etc. just to access it.
Cons:
- I miss custom name/color labels from other platforms which allow me to see at a glance in the calendar the category of posts posted. At the moment, the calendar feels like a cluttered mess.
- The editor automatically defaults to the shortest character count and makes it impossible to write anything longer, meaning that you have to go and manually adjust all the platforms allowing longer text instead of adjusting just that one platform that has to have the text split. Other places just add negative counter to the general caption so that you can go over the limit and adjust later in specific platforms.
- No autosaving drafts. Since the platform has a nasty idea of showing "New version available" pop up with no option to dismiss, just to "Reload," it's really easy to lose your progress by trying to make the pop up go away.
- [As of time of writing this, it's on the roadmap] No template library: having a place to store templates of text/images with the alt texts would really make using the platform much easier.
- The fact that you can't post links to X is annoying (and not really disclosed in this deal: I learned it from the questions/reviews section) but not a deal breaker.
- Lacks "queue" option available on other platforms: posts that aren't set for specific days but just lined up to be posted one by one on queue-specified days and times (if it was added and had a rule of "if nothing scheduled then post from queue," then it would beat the competitors too).
All in all, AdaptlyPost looks very appealing. AI is not too intrusive (I wish there was a was a way to toggle it off in settings, though), and I love that I don't have to use it. The connection to the platforms seems stable (so far, scheduled posts have been going out without issues). The upcoming inbox is going to only add to the benefits. For now, I can see myself staying with them for good.

Oct 26, 2026Hi! Thanks for the review!
Upscrolled doesn't have a public API for posting, so we can't integrate it right now. If they release one, we'll look at adding it.
You can post links to X. X charges us extra for posts with links, so those posts use more credits.
Sorry about the "New version available" popup. Right now we ship a few updates a day. That should drop to a few a week, and we'll release them during quiet hours. The popup is hard to dismiss on purpose: after an update, the old page might break, and reloading is the safest fix.
Your suggestions are all good: calendar labels, letting the main caption go over the limit, autosaved drafts, templates with alt text, a posting queue and an option to turn AI off. Some will land over the next few days, the rest go into the post creator redesign.
The inbox is coming soon. Thanks again!
