Great platform, but needs a fix for TikTok covers
I've been using AdaptlyPost for my social media scheduling, and overall, it's a great service that streamlines my workflow. However, I can't give it full 5 tacos right now due to a specific bug with the TikTok integration. When I schedule a video and select a custom cover within the platform, the cover doesn't get applied when published to TikTok. I recently had three videos go live completely without their assigned covers because of this glitch. If the development team can fix this custom cover issue for TikTok, this will easily be a 5-taco product. Looking forward to a fix!

About the TikTok covers: unfortunately this isn't something we can fix on our side. TikTok's API doesn't let third-party tools upload a custom image as a cover. The only thing it accepts is a frame from the video itself, picked by its timestamp. This applies to every scheduling tool connected to TikTok, not only AdaptlyPost.
So it's not a bug in AdaptlyPost. It's a limit TikTok sets for all third-party apps. If you want a specific cover, the best workaround is to pick the frame you like as the cover, or to put your cover image as the first frame of the video before uploading.
If TikTok ever opens custom covers in their API, we'll add support right away. Thanks again for using AdaptlyPost!
