Q: I have looked at the site:dbplumbing.

co.uk example and I have 2 questions, please.

1. Where are these reviews (votes) calculated from? It says ...Rating: 5 · ‎364 votes
Is this a combination of checkatrade and google?

2. Other pages have lower votes, why is that?

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you!

P.S. I would be even more interested in this is this deal would work for a few more sites instead of just one. Maybe you would be open to reconsider to make the deal sweeter.

A: Hi, Thanks for your questions

Yes, these totals are aggregated from the clients' connected platforms.

Google My Business Result:
Total Reviews: 49
Total Rating: 4.9
Checkatrade Result:
Total Reviews: 315
Total Rating: 5

Total 364

But the review totals are different because the number of ratings and stars is dynamic. You can get new reviews every day on multiple platforms, but Google is not as fast in reindexing the pages.

For a popular business collecting regular reviews, Google will read some pages before others, resulting in different reviews on Google's SERPs.

To address the "Sweeter deal". :-)

If someone has a business and reviews are important to them, the cost becomes almost irrelevant if that business runs for ten years.

If you were to do this job with schema and add that markup to each page of your website, that job, even on a platform like Fiverr, would likely cost many more times the life time deal on Appsumo.

I am reasonably confident that no Fiverr developer would guarantee their results. Once they had been paid, if you had an issue, they would be either not available or there would be an additional cost implication.

I say this from personal experience. AddStars started when one of our local web developer competitors got their review stars on SERPs for the keyword that provided most of our website traffic. That directly impacted our traffic and conversions even though our review numbers and review rating were way higher on Google my business.

AddStars comes with a bonus. You get to white label this product and buy single lifetime licenses for as little as $1.50, which you can charge out monthly or annually to your clients, so if you sold 100 licences and sold them at $9.95 per month, that's $12k a year recurring after the cost of your licences. Give them two months free if they pay annually, that's still $10k, and I promise, once you have these stars next to your SERP results, nobody wants to lose them.

AddStars is not a vanity project, you're not paying $69 just to have your review stars show on SERPs.

Having your review stars can lead to a significant boost in traffic and conversions that your competitors will only envy.

I appreciate your question, and thank you for your comment, I hope you consider the product as something that is beneficial on many levels, but I realise that many people will find this deal isn't for them.

Hi, thank you for your response.

As for the "sweeten the deal" reply... I appreciate the extended explanation, however, most of us here at Apsumo are agencies and we are looking for win-win deals to offer our clients. I assume that is why you are here on Appsumo.

Also, not many may afford to buy 100 licenses at $67. So, I believe that by making the deal more affordable to agencies with maybe stacking opportunities you will make more sales, get more customers, more feedback to improve your saas, etc. I am sure you know all that.

Since you said that you listen to our feedback, here is mine and I really hope you take action. Thank you!

I hope we have preempted your feedback. Currently, we don't have the Appsumo privileges to sell tiered products. However when you sign up and get into your AddStars dashboard, you have the opportunity of purchasing as few as five licences or as many as 1000 many licences for as little as $1.50 each. We also return your initial investment of $69 through the dashboard (just a caveat, you can't get the $69 discount through the dashboard and refund your AppSumo purchase.)

One possibility would be to sign up and try it out, you have a 60-day money-back guarantee through AppSumo and a thirty-day money-back guarantee through AddStars.

Because it's a white-label dashboard, even if you give it to your clients for free, it's a great retention tool, as once your clients see their review stars on SERPs it's not something they will easily give up and they will stay with you.

Hope this helps.
