I've relied on YouTube for over ten years, ever since I started using videos in marketing. I've looked with envy at the analytics and customization options platforms like Vimeo and Wistia provide, but the cost always put me off.

So when I saw this deal on Appsumo, I jumped on it.

The logic of the UX is similar to Vimeo, in that it's "project" based, and once you get that straight in your head, everything else makes sense. If you're coming from YouTube, you'll be scratching your head thinking "where's the 'upload' button?" :)

I love that you can replace a video with a new version and keep the links. You can also copy settings between videos, a feature I haven't seen before, and which makes maintaining brand integrity a breeze.

My one peeve is that it doesn't integrate directly with my marketing platform (Kartra) si I'll have to embed videos in an HTML frame rather than being able to use Kartra's video embedding - but that's a few in Kartra, not Adilo :)
