I have had Teachable for several years, and the cost made no sense for me as a small non-fiction author who wanted to turn my business books for writers into online courses. The price structure of the AppSumo deal got me interested in the Spayee deal, which meant I needed a video hosting solution. I did a lot of research on Adilo and checked out reviews online outside of the AppSumo reviews posted here. The enthusiasm of those posts led me to watch the demos and the videos about Adilo.

I did a small test case to see how the product worked. I admit the Adilo learning curve is a bit intimidating for a newbie like me. Still, I reached out to customer support because I knew I wouldn't get far if the Adilo customer support weren't responsive. I had a great experience. The rep was great to work with and very patient. I have a Vimeo account, and the idea of upgrading (and the monthly charges) played a significant factor in my signing up for the Adilo Tier 5 plan. The Tier 5 plan might be too much for my current needs, but I fully intend to make my online courses a reliable revenue stream, so I bought Adilo for the future. Now that I have the software, I have even more ideas about new revenue streams I can create. Fingers crossed, Adilo works as well as I believe it will, and that I can learn what I need to produce and host my course videos.
