Although I had issues redeeming my AppSumo code/license, the issue was handled professionally by sending me a temporary license while issue was being resolved. They shouldn't receive a bad rating for that; it's a new product after all. These things can happen to even large establish companies.
I have being exploring the demo (FodStar) which is a great design but there is a small learning curve especially with the addons, setup and the implementation. It should be more streamlined. I think some of these addons should be added as toggles in the main aDirectory plugin, unless in the future it will be sold individually.
Also, I do not like or use Elementor, but support said I can use any theme, like kadence, or Block builder plugin by utilizing shortcodes. I have not tried a different theme or page builder yet but will do so soon.
Overall aDirectory is very promising. Hope in the future they go beyond the use of shortcodes for Gutenberg blocks. Blocks are the core builder of WordPress pages and its future.
