Adobe After Effects

Adobe After Effects is an animation and creative compositing application used in post-production to create animated graphics and visual effects for film, television, video, and the Web.

After Effects is a full video editing solution that is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of video editing tools. It is considered the benchmark tool for video editing, creating moving images, animation, and visual effects.

After Effects combines sequences of images, referred to as Layers, into Compositions. In the timeline window, you adjust the stacking parameters and succession of layers and their properties to create animations and effects.

Each layer is defined by fixed, adjustable and possibly animatable properties such as position, scale, opacity, and rotation. Animating a property involves setting one value in time and another at another point in time, making it easy for all users to create and animate easily.

You can use vectors or even normal videos as a starting point. The possibilities with After Effects are endless. Combine video, sound, and graphic and text animation, messing with the effects to produce special effects, whether realistic or not. For video effects, the tool has advanced functions for adding a moving object, making selective color adjustments, creating videos optimized for virtual reality, and motion tracking and inlaying objects or people.

After Effects is powerful and supports ultra-high definition (up to 4K) video. You can also work with virtual reality video. As with other software in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, you can customize the interface by moving the toolbars around as you wish.

With many advanced features, you can expect thousands of text effects (scrolling credits, spinning words, etc), a keyframe and time warp system, a multifunctional 3D transformation widget, a system of intelligent deletion of objects in the video sequences, and much more.

After Effects also allows users to install plugins that increase functionality and speed up your workflow.
