Formerly known as Typekit, Adobe Fonts is an online service by Adobe Inc. that provides subscribers access to its font library under a single licensing agreement.

Adobe Fonts is included in your Creative Cloud membership. Your fonts automatically sync to your account and are available across your Creative Cloud apps. It allows you to explore over 20,000 fonts you can use to improve your content creation and enhance your creativity.

The Adobe Fonts library empowers you to come up with a unique and creative appeal for everything, including images, vector artwork, logos, your website, printing documents, 3D assets, PDFs docs, video content or overlay designs, and much more.

Adobe Fonts automatically presents you with trending fonts in case you don’t know where to start. You can browse fonts in a grid or list to find the fonts you like easily. Search for fonts by including text (ABC), figures (123), or symbols (&°$^£>).

You can even type your sample phrase, adjust its size, choose desired properties, filter the results by design styles (hand-drawn, decorative, Sanserif, etc.), and explore several designs in real time. This gives you a clear view of what your final design would look like and helps you easily compare fonts and make a decision.

If you prefer, you can explore font templates by designers. This feature lets you get a front-line view as new fonts unfold and you can meet the individuals behind every font design. The Visual Search feature allows you to find and upload the fonts you need to your library from images. Upload pictures and scan them to copy their fonts or search for similar ones.

Also, if you see a font you like on a non-digital space, simply click the camera icon and take a photo of the font, and Adobe Fonts will provide you with the font or others similar to it. This makes finding fonts easy and fun. No need to scroll through thousands of fonts before putting your mouse on your favorite font.

Adobe Fonts also gives you access to a showcase of Adobe’s foundry partners. This opens the door to discover more fonts, fonts families, and design typography trends from subject-matter professionals, and you can use those to create unique, outstanding designs.
