Q: I cant see the google ad
Hi,
I created a test account before committing to a purchase and entered a competitor’s domain to review their ads.
The platform shows that they are running several Google ads and a couple of YouTube ads. I can view the YouTube ads, but the Google ads only display an icon without the actual ad copy or images.
The competitor currently has active ads running, so I wanted to check whether I’m missing a step or if this information is not available during the trial.
Please advise.
Best,
Tahir

Jun 24, 2026A: Hi Tahir, thanks for the detailed note, and good question!
What you're seeing comes down to a difference between two parts of AdPeekr: the search function and the alerts that notify you when new ads are published. The alerts are the core of what we do, and they've been thoroughly tested and verified to work reliably.
The search function works a little differently. It pulls data live from the ad libraries the moment you search, and the amount we're allowed to retrieve in one go is sometimes limited, so the results can occasionally come through incomplete, which is likely why some ads show only an icon without the full copy or images. The alerts don't have this issue, since we pull that data more slowly and several times over to verify it.
As you may have noticed, pulling all the data in search can also take a while, so we've had to balance speed against accuracy. With search we lean a little more toward speed, whereas for the alerts we prioritize accuracy above all. We're continuously improving AdPeekr and are confident we'll soon reach a point where that trade-off isn't needed at all.
In the meantime, it's worth knowing AdPeekr's main strength is alerting you the moment new ads go live, and that part you can rely on.
Cheers,
Bas
Hi Bas,
Thank you for your reply.
practically speaking, there was no single text/image displayed of any ad (accept YouTube) so as a matter of fact I can not read/view the ad what is all
About so what the use of it ?

The full ad text and images do show, and here's where it really comes together: once you follow an advertiser and they publish a new ad, it lands in the "Notifications" area of your account. Everything's stored there sorted by advertiser and by day, so you can open today's and see every new ad that launched, or jump to a previous day and see what went out then, all with the full creative.

We've also got a feature coming soon that lets you cherry-pick and save specific ads to your account, or download them in one click, handy if you want to send them to your design team or just keep them on your drive.
Cheers,
Bas
If it alerts you, how do we find and view the ad?
Verified purchaser
When an advertiser you follow launches a new ad, you'll get an email alert, and the ad itself is waiting for you in the "Notifications" area of your account. Everything's stored there sorted by advertiser and by day, so you can open today's and see every new ad that launched, or jump back to a previous day to see what went out then, all with the full text and images.
