Q: Not sure if you saw my reply Kate, would you please Firstly I like the idea you're focusing on one Ad ...

platform (meta) and aim to become among the top tier at that! Here are some of your key Q&A’s consolidated below this reply (which may also be helpful for many sumo’lings on the fence). I would say for a small agency like myself offering this service to clients with Adscook...

1) Separate workspaces would be KEY (not having to rely on one person having to offer to share accounts with each team member for every client, as that’s really not scalable …it’s also a bottleneck.

2) Not having the ability for each client to be billed individually from their bank or card is an accident waiting to happen, esp if all funds are consolidated and taken from our bank (plus the exchange rate differences, as everything is in $, so outside the U.S, that needs to be considered (only time before we find we’re out of pocket due to exch rates).

3) There is no ability to directly send or email or log in for clients to view reports, which even if you made this possible, they are not white-labeled. The platform also does not offer WL either. If we could at least push each clients data to our “own” third party dashboards that would be something at least (I use Oviond.com) and would be workable, though would require you to have an API for integration, which I see is on your roadmap…can you provide an ETA on this please?

4) Could we at least have the ‘option’ to click a button to hide your logo/branding from the platform (other platforms offer this). If clients were to see the Ad platform we’re using they will know for up to $5k monthly Ad spend its costing us $29pm.

5) one other point is that in one reply comment you mentioned Sumo’lings would get a huge discount on paid monthly subscription plans. Could you please be more specific in % discount Kate. My thought here is that we have your Sumo deal and keep for ourselves inhouse to run our own ads…and train staff up on, then purchase a paid monthly subscription for each client (which you bill to us and we bill on to the client (so they will not know the of the name the Ad platform tool…hence if/when we need to log-in and screenshare when a client on a call, they will not see the Adscook branding).

Yes, of course CNAME would be awesome if you decide to offer that on your roadmap, so they don’t see the URL either, though I may be able to blur that out for now!

By purchasing additional client plans on monthly subs, also helps towards rolling revenues to support your ongoing progression

Thanks. Andrew

A: Hi Andrew,

Yeah, you were right about missing your other reply. Sorry for that.
Thanks a lot for this detailed message.
Let me go through the points one by one :)

1) Yes, this is something that was on our roadmap, and later, when we opened the "shared account" option, our active agency users were satisfied with the solution and we dropped the "team" feature development due to our lack of resources at that time. But totally agree, there are some cases where this is a real blocker for the users, and we are happy to take this into consideration while planning our future tasks.

2) Overall, the billing system of the ad spend lies on the side of Facebook, so each Business account gets billed by its own payment method. In Adscook, the user (e.g. the agency) pays only for the monthly subscription of our service (and not for the ads), in this case only for the Appsumo deal. Ad spend is still charged by Facebook, and we do not have the authority to charge the users by our end.

3) Noted. Unfortunately, we can't give any ETA for any feature, as we should do our research before any development and prioritize all the tasks available. After that, the feature (in this case API) gets or does not get into backlog of the development. So I am sorry for this now, but no date info is available for me now.

4) Sorry, maybe I do not get this fully, but as far as I understand, there could be a workaround, and while sharing the report to your clients with a screenshot, you could skip the logo part from the viewport. If I am mistaken, please let me know and we can discuss more details.

5) Yeah, right, if the Appsumo user exceeds the monthly limit of his/her tier, then they can switch to the monthly subscription (that will be billed only to the agency and not to the clients). The discound may vary depending on the adspend. So whenever the amount is exceeded, the Appsumo user contacts our support, and we take it into the product marketing dep to understand the discount to be applied.

Hope these answers helped you. If there are any other points of discussion, I will be happy to continue it via email (kate@adscook.com) as the deal is over soon and we won't be able to go on here on our product page in Appsumo.

Thanks again and have a great week...
Kate.
