Q: Clarify BYOK and API credits
I see that even though we BYOK (this is only for openrouter and not for openai and anthropic?), we are still limited by API credits for usage of a) Models and b) tools. Am I right?
So do we get monthly API credits top up also? Or we only get a fixed one time amount of credits?
Is this how it works:
1) Tier 1 means that we have unlimited use of the standard lower level models and if we want to use advanced models, we have to use our API credits which are a one time thing and do not top up monthly - so we have to purchase more api credits for advanced models if we use up our api credits.
For Tier 1, how does BYOK for OpenRouter fit into this? Can we use OpenRouter for Anthropic and OpenAI to bypass the api credits? Or do we still use API Credits when using Open Router?

= Native Al models (Azure GPT3.5, GPT-4, GPT-4 Omni, Claude Haiku, v3.5 Sonnet)
Tier 1 gets access to GPT3.5, GPTo Mini, and Claude Haiku. Tier 2 and Tier 3 users get access the previous models and also GPT4, GPT40, Claude 3.5 Sonnet. But all tiers get unlimited usage in Afforai. Afforai supports and offers these Al models natively inside Afforai.You can use these models with no limit.
= Bring Your Own Key via OpenRouter (GPT, Claude, Sonnet, Gemini, etc)
You can connect your API key via OpenRouter, allowing you to use other Al models in the market that we dont offer natively. But you will pay for your own usage via OpenRouter. Tier 1 users can use this feature to access GPT4, GPT40, Claude Sonnet etc but Tier 1 users will have to pay for their own usage instead of Tier 2 and Tier 3 users getting it free, included.
=> API credits
APl is meant for developers to be able to leverage Afforai using our API endpoint to build new tools using our API. Researcher can use our web app to research, read, and writer papers. API credits are a one time deposit and once you use it up, you can replenish by purchasing our API credit packages.

I can see how it can be confusing but any usage of AI models inside the Afforai product is unlimited and free. It's already included with your LTD. You only spend the API credits when you use our API services.
heartwareHi Alec! I thought there is limit for GPT4, GPT40, Claude 3.5 Sonnet in Tier 2 & 3 - 20 and 50 calls per 3 hours. It's not unlimited. Would you pls clarify?
Sure heartware. we employ the term "Unlimited" in our pricing plans for both subscribers and LTD users to signify that we do not impose any arbitrary restrictions on the use of the service. However, to maintain the integrity, performance, and reliability of our system, and to ensure that all users have equitable access to the application, certain rate-limiting measures are necessary.
I want to highlight this is a standard practice that even companies like OpenAl and Anthropic also implements for their services.
